  1. Good honest dogging lad,not all dogs are all a rounders but can still serve a good perpus. Some people expect to much out of dogs these days I think
  2. Personally I would not waste my time looking for that dog but if ever I stumbled across it I would be happy to give it bed and board. Smaller dogs for tight spots and bigger dogs for wider spots. A good dog is a dog that is good at its job so then a dog shouldn't be judged as a bad dog when really it's normally the owners fault for not working the dog to its strengths. In an ideal world you would want a couple of each type of terrier and not expect any 1 dog to do a job in a hole it's not suitable for. That's just my opinion happy hunting
  3. All depends on the ground your lamping and the quarry fella if your lampen very large fields go for lightfoce blitz,but the striker 170 has always done me a good all arounder
  4. I like to use my for fishing as they are good for storing heat but I much prefer boots when it comes to walking
  5. Aww that's good to hear I have a young dog he'll be working with pointer greyhound crosses next year in he's day time work but I would like him to find he's own work up on the hill's thanks for your replys
  6. Hello all does anybody no if the Wheaton crosses have decent noses I no any dog will hunt up if raised the right way but I was wondering if anybody had 1st hand experience with them hunting rough land threw the day any replies apreciated thanks
