Not for me. I only get um as the in laws have a subscription for me. I do however, kinda agree with them in this instance. The 97 needs some sort of work, whereas the TX doesn't, they have to appeal to the masses. Plus we don't know how much AA spend on advertising with the magazine... if you catch my drift. They wont have the 97 as 'best underlever... when it's fettled' would they...

Just had a rekie online... that's a uber smart FWB. Woodwork looks the bomb, metal work not so. But with a bit of a kiss and a cuddle, that's a Hidden gem. Best calibre too

Red dots just something I happened to have in me kit bag, had it on me twenty two 15+FPE lightning before it got broke didnt know it was that at the time course. In all honesty, struggling getting anything below 1 inch at the moment at 22 yards. Cant see the target to be fair. Will have it apart in like 2 weeks for a clean. Anyway. Off to me brothers now for a brew x

Tuned 98 and MTC Connect?

Do it. See what happens mate. The only recoiling rifle I've ever used with a connect is a LGV comp ultra, which incidentally had its bollox tuned off it. Still nudged a bit... and I mean a very small bit. With respect, I doubt your 98 is running the same system. The connect doesn't actually need the eye to lens as such, it's just need to be 'pretty close', so give it a go. However, the nature of the connect may throw the balance of the rifle all over the shop more so, but, thinking about it, it may be a stroke of thought, heavy front end, counter balance, heavy back end and so on. -

Planning a little project Marko? Do it. Ive seen bangin decent ones at 225-250... Not a mark on um. Bloody lovely too. How much work does it need mate? A friend of mine at the club has one for sale, 140 quid, needs work too. Im assuming the one your looking at is around that price point. Airsporters. Easy in the top 3 best looking rifles produced imo.

Mrs has got me mainly stuff from Uttings, but not sure what, a flask for when Im freezin me bollox off, a new game bag perhaps, stock of pellets - best be the f'kin right ones or she'll get a slap.... and me dad, perhaps a Photon [Doubt this though] or maybe even HW45 Blackstar Which he was looking at earlier in the year.
