Not sure but the release pen was at least 500 metres from the nearest water source...never saw a mink either just stone martens, may have been one of them mink dont need to be near water,,same as otter,,they travel alot,,spring time..watched an otter hunting rabbit burrows last year, a good way from water.... a pair of mink killed over two hundred poults over two nights last year, down at a mate of mine in suffolk.... frustrating little twxts....

first,, not trying to hijack original thread... skycat,,,i should have explained better.. pup does not run 8/10 miles on bike...goes out in morn with alsation,,on grass/dust tracks walking,play fighting etc..and plenty of fag breaks..then t/time does approx four mile on tarmac on bike.. thanks for reply... -

seven month beddy/whippet of mine,does 4/5/6..chicken wings a day ..plus kibble..out twice a day,afternoon on bike..8/10 mile a day..and up to three hours exersize..comes home and play fights the alsation..... is this to much.. what age will he break down...... honest answers... thanks.... -
grandparents eh.... they'd seen it all .. but were allus chilled out..nowt fazed that generation.. they just got on with it .............

did this job for five years...one of the best iv'e had,, differant situation everyday.. not cars ,,houses,, did hundreds....feel sorry for em,,not really..not when you see how some live..[and you have to clean/clear the place] done em were they've kept a horse in the house..one a social worker kept a vietnamese pig in hers..had some good swag though.. only felt sorry when people have tried to sell there property on rough estates and been unable to sell.. been attacked by paki taxi drivers in darkest huddersfield,,,etc,etc.. could write a good book on some of the things i've experianced...
