yesterday morning a pal of mine rang me and told me that his son had seen a small type lurcher in some big private woodlands he owns [over grown] and the dog was in poor condition..any ways his old man goes up there and see's it in the same place [sunny spot] his lad told him..took some food up there but couldn't get near it ..so he rings me next day to see if I knew of any one with a dog type cage trap.. tells him no ,,so he has a ring round no joy..said he'd ring me back..so I did a little search on net and up come's a site,, and there's an advert with description of dog[name very timid etc

if your gonna get an ace250 rob,,i got the sports pack off ebay about £250 you get two coils..i use the larger one covers more ground..or you can upgrade to the nel coil..google mdf,,[metal detecting forum]there's every thing you wanna know about the garrets there mate.. good luck........

a lad round here max, averages 25k a year from his errrr wanderings ....lol.........yep as you say makes you think about the history of some of the finds etc... I live on the coast and just inland is the lincolnshire wolds..stand up there on the tops and there's great views to the mouth of the humber..imagine like it was,, them Vikings/romans rolling up..

using a detecnics..pro pointer aswell rob,,makes life easier..eats batteries though...as dido says you wont lose much on a garrett 250..then if its for you..well upgrade etc.

Are you from that area? I don't think I've ever seen it down here. Mate, its everywhere, I`m in Hampshire. Theres also a few look-a-likes that are slightly less toxic. I didnt know it was so toxic till Walshie mentioned it. Its making big news lately, burning children... Look for the purple blotches on the stems, thats the one to avoid. hemlock............
