    just a quick thank you to the two lads above. I put an advert out for terrier spike/anchors and the two above made me two different designs and they are both top notch! great bits of kit and built to last! thanks lads atb was meant to say CHEERS!

    I received a phone call Thursday night from a distressed farmer about an hour away from my home. he was at his whit's end with an elusive Charlie who was by now causing him some considerable damage. he had had the rifle boys out but ole redskin was proving to be the Houdini of fox world. this farmer has always been good to me in the past and has always let me know when any edible lumps had drifted onto his patch so I was only happy to go and help. so after sacking work off Friday morning (24 hour sick bug) I set off at first light toward the farm. I only had two of my russels this morning

    sorry mate my post was a tad vague. although that was this bitch's primary use as a terriermans mutt, she did more than her fair share on the lamp and daytime mooching. in fairness she surprised a few lads local who underestimated her due to her heavy build, me included. she was more than capable on most terrains and was a very honest and loyal bitch well into old age. you should have real fun with a pup like that mate!

    a gentleman I did some digging with had one, she was about 23" id say. very heavy bitch but a very capable animal for doing what he required. good luck with the pup mate and keep us posted atb

    sorry for my ignorance, but how do you administer these crystals? is it straight out of bottle onto cut?If it's on the tip of ear, then put crystals in a wee tub, and dip ear or toe or whatever in, if it's in a more awkward place then stick a little bit of Vaseline on tip of cotton bud and dip it in crystals then onto cut. The crystals are messy if they get wet so don't get em wet with water, real handy to have about and far better than any of the sprays pal, just keep em away safe in a wee sealed tub I keep mine away from kids and that in small Tupperware tub lol thank you mate! top tip, a

    Seriously bud can't believe how quick the one bitch went skinny !Been making myself ill worrying about them was hunting Sunday and just couldn't wait to get home and try get them to feed Been on the phone to everyone I know aslong advice the boiled chicken worked a dream expect for the smallest bitch gone nip home from work dinner time and make some scrambled egg aswell think the warm food is appealing to them its madness mate! had it with my current lurcher pup, she wouldn't eat a thing! and I actually contacted "skycat" off here and she sorted my right out! keep at them mate, you will

    keep at them mate! its horrible situation mate I have had it with a mates litter and like you say you know they wont starve but it takes no time at all for a good healthy pup to go down hill fast. but by the sounds mate you are getting them back on track! nice to see a genuine dogman so bothered about the quality of his litter mate! good on you atb

    I am planning on breeding a litter this summer but not a guarantee, but im hoping to have a spare pup or so after I have sorted out the people I have promised dogs to! if I do breed your more than welcome to come and see the line work not an issue as at least then you will have some idea if the pup would be for you! atb

    that's what I like to see, they gave up their time to help you after you gave some time to them, both ways a winner exactly thatte. like I say I wan no money b they were obviously decent lads. the one lad dropped e box of completed out side my house, I didn't even know he was doing it. and as mentioned I was very grateful

    the only litter of pups I bred I gifted.... but two of the lads tried to pay me but I explained I didn't want any cash. one gentleman made me a terrierbox for the back of the quad in exchange and the other did some welding of some tools for me ( bars and spades). this was a very nice gesture from both of them and was greatly appreciated and both are now good friends of mine as a result. on the other hand I have paid for a few of the terriers in my kennel and I am quite happy to do so as I believe nothing in life is for free. atb

    Like i said there will be dogs of their equal and even better Matty,ive personally not seen their equal but that doesn't mean there isn't .the Saluki types i own and the one's i seen run couldn't,wouldn't & never will be in the same league as them & that's the gods honest truth..just one dog i owned and he wasn't the best in his 18 best nights he killed over 400 hares,i ain't heard of a Saluki or any other type match such a feat have you?
