  5. Ordered a SAKO 85 Synthetic/Stainless.
  6. Thanks, both rifles I had in my sights, Sako and Tikka are both mentioned here. Now just which one? Do some reading and visit a couple of RFD's
  7. I have just managed to find the time to get started with stalking done my DS1 and I have a .308 on my ticket but not yet filled. I hope to do a further course later in the year which requires me to have an appropriate rifle. I supoose this must have been asked a thousand times before but what is considered the best (all round) rifle for Red, Sika, Fallow & Roe, calibre and manufacturer. Before I make a mistake and buy the wrong 0.308 (or get a one for one variation).
  8. This is my friends gun who has not an internet access so if any interest PM me and I will pass his telephone number to you. Used - Beretta 687 EELL O/U, 12g, 3", Multi Choke shotgun in original condition with carry case, chokes, key, etc., Used only for clays with around 500 catridges through it from new. The gun lives 10 mins from Junction 5, M6. Offers around £2,750.00 (photos can be arranged)
  9. 2 PMs sent, first one was not correct as I thought it was refering to the CZ I also have for sale.
  10. Hastan Escort 3 1/2 inch semi auto, 30 inch barrels, 3 shot with 5 chokes. Just 12 months old and with original box, but probablly no more than 50 shells throught it, mostly decoying. As it's 3 /12 inch magnum its not keen on 28 gram clay cartridges, but cycles perfectly using 35 gram (I use victory's). Put in for .17HMR variation on my FAC so need to get rid of one of my guns to make room. £300.00 ono.
  11. CZ BRNO Silhoutte .22LR with Tasco World Class 8x50 scope, sling, Parker Hale Mod, Polecat quick release bipod. Checked .22 purchased against used it has had only 160 rounds through it (would throw in about 100 winchesters). £280.00. Sorry my mistake it's a STYLE black stock with stainless barrel Photo has my .223 scope attached the Tasco is in front.
  12. Depends where you live. Lots of fields up North getting fewer as you move South. Probally just North of B'ham is the southern limit. It's O.K. if you have no where else to shoot, but as in previous posts you have to book out before you go. I awlays feel a little uncomfortable as I get the impression that no one knows your there and NPPC just has a blanket open permission and does not tell the farmer/land owner your coming. Maybe be wrong on that just an impression. Most fields are under rape and at the moment it's difficult with OSR being so high and no spring drillings to get over. NO EX
