  1. no longer for sale. gone for rebarrel to deer calibre. shame really it was superb
  2. i would be very careful making mods to sell unless your a rfd. due to legal issues etc. be interesting to see them though. I am all for British designs. we shouldn't have to keep relying on other country's for stuff when we have people here who are more then up to the job of making stuff. can only be a good thing for our market. good to see your local to me also.
  3. used 50 grain vmax, blizkings or nostlers. all do the job well. the blizkings seam to do the most damage. prefer to use the 17 cf now tho. very rarely exit. no mess hanging out them when im carrying it to a bush to lay to rest
  4. Rcbs 270 Winchester die set. Used but in good condition. Set contains neck.full length and seater die 35 pound posted
  5. hi mate what calibre is it. and how much
  6. MUST SELL DUE TO NEW RIFLE. £600 !FOR THE RIFLE, 70 ROUNDS OF AMMO,ANY ONCE FIRED BRASS, AND REDDING 3 DIE SET
  7. if it is will be hard to read if you use it under the lamp.
  8. price dropped to £750. a bargain look at the ones on guntrader. there standard factory tubes this is a custom tube. and also comes with the top of the range dies and brass etc
  9. Hi guys up for sale is my tikka m695 270 winchester. It is the stainless model with plastic black stock. the stock has just be re finished in matt black and looks as good as new. The action itself is in very good condition and so is the barrel apart from a bushing mark on it where a mod has been at some point. the barrel is 20 inch sporter and screwcut 1/2 inch. the trigger has been adjusted breaks nice and clean. Rifle bore doesn't look like its had much use at all. The rifling is still nice and sharp with no fire crackling etc down the barrel. Does just over a inch with factory
  10. hi guys dont really want to put this rifle up for sale but needs must. and I have seen something else in 17 cf i would like to buy. so here we go tikka m595 action in very good condition no rust etc and the bluing is in very good condition. standard trigger adjusted for nice let off wood stock in very good condition. shilen 1 in 10 twist stainless match barrel sporter profile. 23 inches long. screwcut m14x1 with invisible thread cap [ barrel work done by richard pope of SWIFT PRECISION RIFLES] this rifle has fired no more then 150 rounds. bore as you would expect is in mint
  11. hi dip it do you do rifle stocks in the carbon patten. if so how much do you charge. i have a rpa interceptor stock i would like doing. problem is the mag bottom metal is bedded in. and i don't want to mess about trying to get that out. could it be done left on the rifle
  12. your lucky as you guys can use 222,223,22/250 for roe in Scotland. wish we could down here. have you seen the rifle i have for sale for my friend in the sales section. being a 1 in 9 twist 22/250 it can fire the heavier bullets. and would make a superb roe and fox rifle up in scotland
  13. sorry guys forgot to say this includeds a bipod and sling
  14. mate it will be no different to the 220 swift. if anything the swift will be louder, it burns more powder and has faster speeds. both = more noise
  15. leica 900 scan would do the job. around £250 to £275 for the older model. you can get cheaper rangefinders. but at least with these ones you can use them at night to under lamp. as they have red lcd display
  16. hi guys putting this add up for a friend of mine. who isnt a member on here. anyone who really does consider buying this rifle. can have a try out with it on his land with him. With regret I am selling my beloved 22.250. I have been offered acces to 5500 acre estate with plenty of Deer. So the 22 cal has to go for something in 6.5 flavour. Here it is - Tikka 590 Continental - Fitted with a Douglas Match air gauge barrel - about 18 months ago. It has a 9 twist which allows it to shoot every thing from 55 grn bullets - right up to the excellent 75 grn Amax. Details, Act
  17. you would be better going for a 22/250 imo. not far off the heals of the 220 swift for speed. and more factory ammo out there for it.
  18. Remington have lots of aftermarket parts for them. from stocks to triggers etc. from the box i like the tikka better. better trigger smooth bolt and shoot great
  19. good choice but not all forces will give 243 for fox unless you have deer permission also
  20. Got a 17 fireball had a 222 and had two 22/250s still got the one. All do the job imo living in the big hilly open fields of wales The 22/250 would be best choice. 50 gain bullet out of them at 3800 fps very little holder over at longer ranges. And that bit more stopping power. Noise never really worried about that. Yes the muzzle does flip abit more then 222. But a good mod and a varmint barrel soon sorts that out
  21. yes all depends on your area you shoot. if rabbits are around yards max then 22. once you learn the hold over. if there longer shots hmr would be better. and depends on if you shoot big numbers ? then the 22lr would be easier on the pocket. as ammo is much cheaper. you could look at the mack2 not as powerful as the hmr. but still pretty flat shooting compared to the 22lr. it also is cheaper to buy ammo for. and less prone to zinging off on hard ground like the 22lr
