bring a spade nah mate, just work them as you would any ferret, I have a big hob and he's a real grafter, only kills the odd time. you'll hear people saying hobs always kill in, but its not always the case.

as i couldn't have been fecked to write a report for the first outing i thought I'd do a quick one this time. got to permission about nine o clock, and as we purse netted the first time a lot of time was wasted so stuck to the long nets where possible. first five minutes with two ferrets there was plenty of thumping and action. with all bolters. nets lifted and moved over about 20 yrds with even more action with about 6 bolting and 1 escapee and 1 dig the day wasn't going bad at all. then moved about another 20 yrds to a bank, long nets didn't quite reach each other but purse nets went on

brilliant jig, I watched a full documentary on ants, they make a bridge out of themselves to carry the rest where they need to go. and float on water like a boat I love it

I built my hutch into the side wall of an old shed, holds all the gear too. maybe a shed is too much but building an outhouse type of shelter with cladding would be the dogs balls, something to keep the rain off your back when cleaning out the ferrets and something that wont be too hot when the sun hits it.

i personally don't follow religion, but I think people that say if you believe in god you need medical attention is ridiculous. lets not forget we all here came from Christian communities ect, would you be so quick to say your mother, father or grandparents are delusional who were brought up in the way? I don't think so. hunting was past down to most lads on here through old hands who probably were regulars at mass/service, these people have taught us valuable lessons. times were indeed different but that doesn't mean they were stupid, as said I don't follow religion, but I wont shit on someon
