  1. As has already been said depends on the land/buries.However i wouldn't leave home without at least 4 ferrets and my partner would bring the same so 8 for an average day.I try to rotate em throughout the day however they all have specific rolls so depends on the day really!!

  4. Nope as has been said, my lots crape a bowl in it and pile in You have to be so careful with the heat with ferrets in summer and for me it works a treat, but i suppose it will depend on how good your hutch construction is and how many ferrets in the nest/sleep area.Never use straw as it can harbor mites bugs etc .
  5. Sounds like they were kids or specifically targeted your gear then. You cant get much lower than stealing someones pets. Its about time the f-ing law allowed honest people to defend there stuff without fear of prosecution.Boils my piss to be honest.Atb MATE

  13. Are you using a locator, given his size he could be killing quickly and moving on .You could be leaving alot of bunnies behind!!
  14. Nice day that bud, well done to all.
  15. It will learn by itself but be sure to be patient and start slow, small buries etc.In my opinion ferrets are generally happier kept in pairs or more ,so perhaps look into getting another anyway . good luck atb

  17. Scotland will win England are shite
  18. Always carry a pack of drawing pins, handy to help hold net in place around trees/stumps etc.Oh and a good length of bailing twine lol you wouldn't believe how handy that is, from fixing broken trousers, tying branches out the way, I often tie barbed wire fences together so easier access for me/dogs. A stout walking stick helps when loaded up on uneven ground,i then leg me rabbits and thread em on the stick for the walk back ,2 men can manage 20 bunnies easily with this method.
  19. We use bright colored feed sacks stuffed with leaves/grass etc to block ditches that run alongside thick hedges, works a treat where you cant get a stop net or bit of ply in. nice and light two which is a bonus
  20. Well done bud cant beat getting out with ferrets
  21. Use my o/u 4.10 for bolting rabbits with the ferrets .Nice and light and does the job.Wouldnt be without it tbh.
  22. Yep def helps,we try and gut at the end of every bury.Whilst one nets the the next bury the other picks up and sorts bunnys .Works for us
