Just installed a wireless alarm system on me shed and runs and its also linked to my mobile in case iam not home.Cost £ but a small price to pay i think Took me 20+ years to get my ferrets how i want them and there irreplaceable to me.Just hope if it ever goes off im near by be the last ferrets the feckers ever nick i can assure you Never in all my days did i think someone would stoop so low as to take a mans pets/workers ffs country is bolloxed

In general ferrets to not do well long term on there own,as has been said ,Get a hob and a jill or 2 or even a couple of hobs .

If i cant get a stop net through,i use bright colored feed sacks stuffed with leaves/hay/grass etc they work a treat and nice and light.

I just feed as normal and they get livers etc from a pounched bunny whilst out.

my ferreting partner has a beddy whippet and i must say its spot on for ferreting.It il catch the odd runner,bush and mark and its quiet.

seen a clip of a Dutch Shepard dog running up side of a van/bus with window open dog jumps in pulls attacker through the window....bet it would be fun wearing a full suit and running across a field waiting for that bite to hit you like a steam train lol I've done it with military dogs. Its f***ing hilarious. Try it without the suit,i can assure you it aint hilarious Never saw it coming and felt like id been hit by a truck, and me arm was the last thing it fecking grabbed lol oh the joys of youth eh
