    This is pre ban ) When the terrier is working away in a tight spot taking punishment at the end of the dig and the tail is the only thing available to draw the dog well if it's a stump it's going to take more punishment than it needs to. Come on ladies we are splitting hairs here if you read my post it say if the tail is the only thing available and it goes without saying your going to wait until either the terrier or fox looses it grip before drawing the terrier.

    Then good working jackets should have been fixed by breeding correctly. Good coats were produced by doubling on San lines,in addition to substance,courage and nose. Certain dogs were woefully over used at one time imo. There are good coats produced by some breeders today though... I've never seen a bad coat on a plummer, I can only think its in other lines than the ones I've owned,WM Never doubted that you've got the best Plummers out there but then again you sing a good song. Plummer created them as his own strain of rat dog so why protest when people call them rat dogs.

    The pup I saw at just ten weeks last year was as mad as a hatter ragging and growling a fox brush had me laughing mate told me his lurcher picks it up and runs up and down the garden with the wee Levi oaks pup growling away I don't know if it has settled down as I haven't visited my mate for a while.
