    Early 80s me and a mate doing a spot of freelance fox digging on the banks of a river we had been digging for about an hour when my mate spots a woman walking a red setter on the other side of the river she passes we thought nothing more about it until we hear a noise coming from the top of the banking I went up to see what the noise was it was two policemen making there way towards my car they came and spoke to us as they had a report of to people dressed in camouflage gear digging and it could be the I.R.A burying guns this was on a river bank just outside Glasgow can you imagine if that rep

    Never dug it. Sounds heavy going atb. Up here for me it's been mainly Clay, sand, hardcore from old railway lines has been about the hardest along with an old concrete floor.

    I've known a few plummers that could well hold their own against any terrier of any sort or breeding under the sod and i have a 9 year old bitch here who can put in a stay till dug to shift with old charlie in ground..But as with all things plummer terrier you open your mouth about what you do with your dog and the whole world knows better about it than you who owns it ,now we'll see if mole can now stay silent and not show exactly what i mean ..     Zilverhaze Sorry mole not looked in on this thread for ages can't remember now like but ied say around the 2 meter they al seem to be between 2 and 2.5 Not a problem Zilverhaze the reason for the question it maybe the photo but looking at the hole it just looks tight for working in. Not knit picking or anything it's just something I've noticed with some of the photos of digs that some of the guys have put up. Atb.

    It's all starts with discipline and respect being instilled when your a youngster and the love of being part of the hunt anybody that left a dig when I was there was never back out with me again never infact there's a very good chance I wouldnt speak to him/them again.
