    the mate I got the pup from has an 8 month old dog pup and is bursting to go but same as you hes holding him back I'll be doing the same if my pup is keen to go early he can cut his teeth on rats and other small vermin and left to mature.

    Been out working quite a few breeds ( types ) of terrier Lakelands, Bedlingtons, patterdales, Border x Lakeland, Russell's ( jock Tate type ) Best terrier I have ever been out with was a Russell type ugly as sin long back Queen Anne legs big brindle head ( Not Tate Bred ) this wee dog could find and work better than anything I have ever been out with unfortunately I didn't own him but did watch him work most weekends.

    Hi lads anybody on here using there border terriers to the red chaps me personally I can't see by a Lakeland I have tried a bedlington wasn't impressed not saying bedlingtons are no good my mate had one and was as hard as nails my son has just bought a border terrier pup so just looking for some feed back cheers.

    Here's a wee bit about me been into Lurchers & Terriers most of my life not had any dogs about the place in the last few years though but thats being rectified in the next week or so getting a Border Terrier dog pup cheers
