    The only problem I can see with line bred is your using related stock and therefore creating a smaller gene pool I know you can go for years and years and not see any problems through breeding close plus you can outcross when you see fit.

    The back of are council estate were the posh houses, one in particular had a swimming pool. We were chased on a regular basis. Hiding one day We chanced on a lovely earth.     Cleaned me dog up then myself and then had a couple of these lol not a bad start to the new year ! NOW, you're talking my language ,LOL. Had a dig on Friday and was wondering what was stopping my shovel, plastic was, a load of it dumped on an earth about two foot under the soil. Many years back two friends of mine, both dead now, were following a pack of Staghounds and to get a better view ran over to a pile of scrap and jumped onto it. They bolted a brace of foxes.     8 May 2014 - CECS or Spike's disease in Border terrier has been reported over the last 10 years and suspected to ... black dogs that have been crossed with borders back in there lineage that may explain the fitting.
