I once owned a Beddy bitch that did 6 seasons at the sharp end,its the only dog ive ever given a retirement home to.That bitch is the breeding behind any terrier ive worked since.The amount of ground that little slag covered and the the amount of fox the poodle shifted is beyond the capability of many a terrier bred or worked since,fact.The only reason my lad works terriers now is because of the influence of Tilly and any fecking Beddy with Tilly in its lineage is a good-un.Tilly would be ashamed to be represented by the Plummers or any terrier folk that suit your purpose. Watched a few videos on youtube were the jagd terriers were being doubled up on fox and heavier quarry!!!!! Went off topic a bit I know oops.

Pet home pedlars will be the ruination IMO they are to popular with the street walkers, loads of "patterdales" round about me. They call any black terrier type a Patterdale !!!

One or two on here think there Patterdales/fell terriers are the holy grail of working terriers maybe a wee bit of kennel blindness. I've had black fell terriers good and bad, best dog I've ever dug to was a wee white long back Queen Anne legs brindle headed jack russell (ugly wee bassa) never owned the dog but he's one of the dogs I won't forget. On the flip side the best dog I've ever owned was a black fell terrier. If we're all honest with ourselves there's good and bad in all working terriers.

Ive got a few questions just out if curiosity sorry if I come across as nosey but have you had these terriers long are they a working strain or have you got non workers and getting them working and what made you pick a welsh terrier sorry for all the questions I'm just really interested and it's good to see a breed like this working againAtb lee Question 1.Not had them long I've a two year old, first season and the other is twelve months next season before it's tried under the sod.
