Yep I know what your saying Morton my mate had a beddy dog from the Northumberland area and in his first season drew two foxes from the same earth it never made it too season two as it was run over. There was also a jack Russell in our little crew that would draw the occasional fox but these were usually near death. Sadly wee rusty was lost to ground.

    seen some terriers that I think would die trying , a dog you put in and you would be digging , or a dog that could only be worked as it needs mending time more than working time , people have there uses for such a terrier. as much as I would justify such a terrier , my personal preference is a terrier that could only work its only legal quarry under ground in the biggest places , a terrier when it opens up you know what is in front of it , no not knowing true too its bay , this type that singles out its quarry in the biggest of places , a bolting terrier , which obviously sits back and bays ,
