  1. I think its "one mans meat is another mans poison", we keep what we like and so long as they are well cared for thats all that matters, all types of terriers have been discussed on these threads that is what its there for, you can knock Plummer as much as you want but he was an expert on genetics and if somebody is thinking of starting a new line or breed/type then it pays to know what to expect, "knowledge is power", ignorance will breed you nothing of note, if anybody fancies reading up on genetics there are a few good reads, I bought "Practical Dog Breeding and Genetics" by Eleanor Franklin
  2. Piece from Clive's website. Defending the Indefensible: This is my National RSPCA / Wildlife defence practice: Throughout England & Wales (though not, regrettably, Scotland and Northern Ireland) I specialise in advising and defending people charged with a whole variety of offences such as Hunting with Dogs, interference with badgers and badger setts, poaching, animal welfare, disturbance of rare animals and birds, and possession of animals or birds that are on various lists making it an offence to keep them. I also deal with alleged illegal possession of cage birds.

  6. 'A guest in their country'!?!? Funny cos anyone who moves to England....Even if they are black as the ace of spades and don't speak a word of English, has to be referred to as British as the rest of us or we are racist. 17. You read far too much into my pics "General", I have 2 decent locators with me all the time but all my terriers bar the odd pup when starting off will not just enter any hole, those that hunt Cheshire regularly will tell you that there are badger setts every few hundred yds, the estate land I do is also hunt land, I am allowed on any farm for pest control but not the foxes, my terriers will mark any occupied hole be it a rat, rabbit or a fox, etc, they will not enter (usually) lol's, I know most of the foxy haunts and earths having hunted them for over 40 yrs but do get caught out occasionally,
  18. Darling, for the 15 litters you'd also need the 5 years ("3 litters a year over the last 5 years") That's 60 months It's a litter every 4 months. FYI there's 52 weeks in a year. It's still quite high, but the mans out doing the work required of his terriers 7 days a week. I don't necessarily believe all that he says but To keep larger yards of dogs going it takes a few sales every now and again. It is what it is. He says he dosn't need the money he gives it to his wife, he also said he dosn't cull pups he couldn't do that so if a health issue did crop up it would be
