    lol, I was contemplating it but then decided against it, it was supposed to have top slots as well but that went out the window as well!! Can't say I'm a fan of the top slots. Handy for band attachment in the field but other than that I would rather use wrap and tuck or the pro clips That's fair enough, I never shoots flats anymore, love the tubes!!

    I've been meaning to make this shape catty for a while now, it's got the forks of an sps and the handle of a top shot. It feels mint in the hand and shoots sweet, it's got an oak core, walnut faces and countersunk ally lanyard tube and tube holes, I made it just to see how it felt in the hand, so I may make another out of something a bit more fancy now I know it's a winner,

    Took this mallard with a m 8 hexnut on the farm whilst I was cutting some natural forks, it was a moving target so was happy, will be enjoying it with hoisin sauce tonight :-)

    Before you get too bogged down and pickle your head out reading up on how to aim a catty etc mate, just try instinctive shooting first.... Don't look at your catty at all,and keep both eyes open, just keep your eyes on the target and when your brain tells you to release then do it, you may be surprised just how clever your brain is at this way of shooting, good luck

    Haha, I don't think the enjoyment ever goes away with shooting a catty mate, even if only shooting at cans,You may have not shot one for 40 years, but as soon as you start you'll feel 10 years old again ;-)That's it then , 52! years younger , it's time to get a catty, what do you use for ammo ?9.5mm steel for plinking at cans etc and m.8 hexnuts for hunting mate ;-)

    One of my reasons for now only using looped tubes, was the crack from flats.
