It would seem democracy to some is only acceptable if you're saying and doing what is acceptable to them. Notably leftwing socialist types. Merkel has advised mp's to reconsider. Why?. The people decide, not the fcuking mp's. Sturgeon reckons the vote is not legally binding and Holyrood might be able to veto opting out. 3.1 million people who took part in a democratic vote but didn't like the outcome have signed a petition for another referendum, I'm assuming in the hope that the next time around the outcome suits them. Then of course it will be considered democratic.

I'll be surprised if there is an eu by the time wee Kranky and her pals get one organised. Also, over a million Scots voted to leave, I'm pretty sure a percentage of those voting remain did so as Great Britain, I doubt they relish the thought of being in the eu as a single country. Then there's the folk who want to stay in the union. Folk who don't like the snp, folk who don't want any more disruption. Sturgeon won't be in a hurry to call for a referendum any time soon. So we can all just be happy like me at the way things are and not be worried about what's to come? Mate, happy

Just seen there's a petition with nearly 50 000 signatures saying the referendum should be cancelled due to the death of Jo Cox. I'd imagine the majority will be remain campaigners having now realised this latest tactic hasn't worked.

There's more to this shit than meets the eye. Your man Mair, if he is a bona fide terrorist as BGD and the remain campaign claim he is, well, he's not very clever. Leave were way ahead until this murder happened, why would a leave campaigner/terrorist damage their lead and possibly ultimately their goal at this stage?. The damage way outweighed any benefits. Regardless of this being orchestrated by the in camp or not the fact that a large section of society think the uk government is capable of doing this is worrying in itself. People have totally lost all faith in the establishment.
