  1. Over the time I've had bedlingtons, there's been articles done in CMW, books written to promote the 'Working Bedlington' in particular the one by J Glover, now Glover favours the Gutchcommon lines, he apparently keeps purebred Gutchcommon stock... that work to ground.. Want I want to know is, has anyone seen a purebred Gutchcommon dog work, not one that's been crossed to anything else a purebred GC, even better one of Glover ?? Has anyone had any experience of Gutchcommon dogs, good or bad ???
  2. this is the cock.. 16 friends on facebook... bit of a loner... you could email all his friends and tell them he's a bunny fiddler... or such like...

  7. As the name implies 'Foxhound' good for hunting fox........ie in packs,.with other foxhounds.... if you want to hunt deer try a deerhound cross, bit illegal though!! Rabbits get a whippety type...

  13. Who said I did, earth work is what I use them for, nothing else, as they were meant to be.. TERRIER !!! as for deer I have never actually hunted, shot or owt else.... (porkies there: I have been out with The Devon & Somerset on occasion)
  14. Bedlington owners, fickle bunch.. they want tall Fluffy Fifi types, and pay between 350-500 pound for an infamous name or a bit of paper.. 200 quid pays for a better gamble on the outcome of a working dog, if they're serious about work.. this will do the rabbiting, ratting, mink hunting, maybe even track a wounded deer or hopefully will go ground and work fox, they were bred to do it...
  15. Anyone want to buy a dog pup of me, out of Tag and Milly.. they hopefully will make good digging dogs in the right hands..
  16. my bitch and her pups what you breed her too, what sort of work does she do ??
  17. I'm puzzled by the pics,, you're pulling a fox out with an uncollared unchained dog standing there watching you, how you manage that ?? I'm guessing the other terrier is in the hole, then there's the pic of the two dogs and you holding the fox, which one has the collar own.. I'm intrigued !! SJ ps it's illegal to block holes..
  18. Now that's a nice type.. looks strong for a bitch,, at 6 months she's got plenty of time to learn her trade, plenty of time.. Who bred her, pm me if you like..
  19. they're not... Rambo was owned by S Staley...... don't know what day of the week you were talking to Nick pidge,, but looking at your dog I would say there is a fair percentage of lakeland in that.. unless the bitch that was used had a lot of Rambo in her.. I don't know just surmising...
  20. Odd title, 'Rambo lines' how much Rambo is in that dog Pidge, just curious ??
  21. enlighten me how did you do that do you fancy doing the other pics for me or is that being a bit too cheecky either click the image tab on here, or on pb you have and img button, normally the bottom of the three tabs below your pics... I'm of to bed now... if you aint done I or someone will do it for ya.. the morrow..
  22. It happens to dogs that mix it, quite often, they're busy pummeling their foxes and pushing them whilst trying to get a better grip the flews get in the way and the dogs all fired up don't know (dont feel) they are doing it.. We call it lipping, down this way... Dogs that bay and don't mix it prolly don't end up llike it, perhaps that's why some lads haven't seen it before... live and learn !!! well done..
  23. Coco.. got a good coat on him... and a good nose !!! and the pups today
