there was an incident here last week. where one woman was walking her shepard on the lead and a little 7 year old mixed race girl was walking with her mother but being allowed to hold the lead of a massive mastiff.rottie cross, long story short the shepherd growled the mastiff cross pulled the young girl over and a row went on, the next thing its a racial incident coppers round houses for hours and hours, cautions threats of court and all for what, people really do need to take responsibility for their own actions and it would seem these days talking just does not work,
thats the thing, theres the eggers on and the followers, a pack is only as good or bad as its most forward hounds no different in mixed lurcher packs or any bobbery pack. manners are taught no passed on genetically , it would seem some teach more than others,
alright wilf,
you would get the odd hound to be a rogue and a terrier killer, one particular pack near me are a disaster, i dug for them on one occasion only and was warned to watch my terriers around them. sure enough if you wernt careful especially round a hole they would swipe em.
another pack i used exercise every morn with the huntsman wer 99% safe but early in the season you could see the curious ones looking everytime we passed a house with a dog. special attention was put into curing the offenders and they would run away from another dog if one went near them after a few morni
he affected a lot of lives, many not here today to give a opinion.

Nelson Mandela a great man?! Tell that to the white Christians who had to pick up the body parts of those who were blown apart by the Communist ANC Group which Mandela belonged to.
Nelson Mandela was the head of UmKhonto we Sizwe, (MK), the terrorist wing of the ANC and South African Communist Party. At his trial, he had pleaded guilty to 156 acts of public violence including mobilising terroristbombing campaigns, which planted bombs in public places, including the Johannesburg railway station.
Anti-coagulants prevent blood clotting, a second agent in the poison causes internal haemorrhage - the poison kills the rat because it is incapable of vomiting. All advise to keep all non-target species well away and also to be wary of poisoning water courses.
(You almost feel sorry for them - not a nice way to go !)
so whats the difference between hemorrhage and bleeding
It's Ironic because it's been down a few days now and the rats never mind anyone's dog will touch it
my sisters white shepherd had a fit a month ago no reason
most second generation rodenticides in common use would require the dog to eat it over several days to be lethal, anticoagulant causes internal bleeding
I am not condemning or defending anyone here but we most certainly have not. Simply look at historical televised footage from the Falklands where we sent Argentine PoW troops in to clear booby traps round ammo/fuel supplies. There are many, many examples from many war/conflict zones where we have not not stuck to the rules. Let us be realistic here, there is one basic rule in war....WIN. It is seldom you see the victors in the dock after any war being charged with not keeping to the rules, but commonly the vanquished! :hmm:
We may be better than many, but we most certainly do not stic
did you hear of the golden eagle that was taken and died under suspicious circumstances whilst in their care ?
The golden eagle was taken from A well known falconer to cut a long story short..........it was a wild bird RL had bought back from Scotland after it had a skirmish with his own Eagle.
R L was treating the bird & I think had let Deffra know about circumstances.....
RSPCA turned up & took the bird, at this point it was making a full recovery.........they then killed it in their care.
Eagles are tough birds.......it takes quite a bit of neglect & miss care to kill one..
