  10. Yep i use a pull through too for most of my cleaning i think it has just stuck with me from the days of SLR, felt spoiled when we changed to SA80 and we had brushes and rods in the kit and a multi tool too!!!!. the slr cleaning kit had a multi tool of sorts and a brush that attached to it

  14. always two animals in the mix, red and yellow mixed togeather dont give you red and yellow offspring there a totally new colour knowing what that colour will be is the trick
  15. there just a phospher bronze brush in a piece of shoelace with a cord and weight attached, pass the weight through the breech end untill it comes out the end of the barrel and pull the brush though. good for in the field clean, wont replace a proper clean with copper solvent but they have a place, even the old slr had a pull through as part of the cleaning kit as did the 303 prior to it

  17. i read an article once on barrel shortening, some bloke took a 243 and fired a round and mesaured the fps he then proceded to do the same after cutting 1 inch increments off the barrel, his results showed completly different to what was expected in asmuch as untill he got to below 14inch the fps either remained the same or increased, accuracy was not measured as that would be down to the twist rate.
