i pick a copy up now and again, infact ive got this weeks here on the table as i type this, i havent even bothered to read it yet, its the same old drivel rehashed week in week out, by the same old contributors. most using it as a platform for some future book venture or other, its getting like the shooting press, i shot these rabbits using this gun,these cartridges whilst wearing these socks and pants now i appreciate the publication has to respect the law as it stands but taking a left wing approach to it wont do it any favours

My first "Kit" came with one. "The White Whale" from me Mam's club book. My brother and me got one each. Solid fibreglass, heavy as fook. Plastic blue handle. We used to catch the bus to Clifton bridge and fish on the gravel bank near where Fairham brook runs in. if you intend to work golf courses regular you will be needing deep pockets, get an air rifle aswell for all the weeks the dogs in sick bay more hazzards on golf course than anywhere else. can you not sit up near a warren at dusk and shoot them that way

Used to fish them on the canal for bream they we're cumbersome and awkward, but I loved them, nothing as good as a straight pull on the tip......
