They gotta be looking for new territory Paul, I live on the south coast and we dont usually see them until you get near Newbury or Oxford, but there was one over our house last week. They are either doing really well or are travelinig quite far on last weeks warm thermals. i thought i saw one the other week but dismissed it, but there was no mistaking this one i parked the van up and it came direct overhead whilst being mobbed by a dozen starlings, nice to see them doing so well.

sheep get electricuted at the abbotoir, do you get an electric shook when you eat lamb the only shock i get is when the tell you how much per kilo it is unlesss you suck the pellets for the next 30 years or so you will be quite safe just listen for that loud clonk whilst doing a no2 :laugh: your smk is more likely to just give it a bad head rather that kill it although the odd lucky shot might scare it to death

very good book the guide to self sufficieny by john seymour i lent it to a mate about 3 years ago one of my all time favourite books. its very informative and simple to understand gets my vote

pick 25 random rounds out of the box mix them up in a bag fire as they come out of the bag if it again happens after 20 shots its the rifle not the rounds
