To be honest mate I get more fed up with the routine of school than I do having them at home. I like not having to think about their packing-up, the dropping off & picking up & I’m not the biggest fan of ‘small talk’ with parents etc.......we will be fine ? ....that said I do like the freedom I have for 5+ hours a day without the scrutiny of my Mrs! ?

Well that’s the kids off for 5 weeks (including Easter break) & probably my Mrs as well! Better start thinking of stuff to do.........at least the weather should improve?

We were going to start in San Sebastián, then tolosa & eventually end up near A Coruña for the final week. Shame, I was looking forward to heading west, but as you say, it will just be a postponement for now......

Holiday in April could be off the cards now. Asking people to stop trips to the Basque Country. Luckily no money will be lost. Mrs probably be working from home Monday. Hopefully they shut the school as well! ?

My boy was off school Monday with the shits, but it turned out a nice dry day so we headed out across the fields. We put up a rabbit (a rare beast round here), raised a couple of hares from the headland, flushed a hen pheasant from the long dead sun flowers, watched a harrier go about its business & then we headed over to a fox earth I know. Now this was the bit he loved the most. Amongst the spoil was a few fox bones, bottom jaw etc....... so we had to take those home! .....We then get to the little meadow beside our garden & find a fairly fresh dead vixen (hit by a car). So

The first signs of precaution came yesterday....... they closed the European council gym. My mrs was really pissed off! ?

The good news is kids don’t seem to be effected seriously, which is my real only concern. My Mrs works in a highly transient environment, people coming & going from all over Europe....... the girl she shares her office with only come back from Venice a few weeks ago! So maybe it’s only a matter of time? ?

Last year an old boy I know in England was hanging up a munty in his garage & opened up his own leg from one of the tusks! Went to bed with the injury & nearly bled out the silly old fool!

I watched it yesterday & ordinarly I’d be disgusted at the injustice of it all, but this is Tommy Robinson we are talking about here, somethings always going to happen to poor Tommy, right? I’ve always felt sorry for his kids through all this.

My mate was flying home to London from Berlin after a working trip 2 weeks ago. So on the plane he comes down with a fever & brings this to the attention of flight staff. Cabin crew ”we think you have corona virus. We can have an ambulance waiting for you on the runway to take you immediately to hospital, but if you choose that option we will have to quarantine the whole plane for two weeks!” My mate “err..... maybe I’m not feeling that bad?” Cabin crew “ok second option we can have a paramedic waiting for you in the airport & they can escort you to a hospital” My m
