    Only time I felt a bit bad was the time my male harris caught a young muntjac............I was just dispatching, when I heard a call behind me.....it's mother had come out of the woods withing 30f of me & was calling for its young................not the best I've felt after a kill...

    There was very little 'non-badger' night work done in the zones. It would be a very brave lamper that ventured out with white light in the zones with so many antis and police in the area. The key fact is that it wasn't 39% of the badgers killed; it was 39% of the target number of badgers. All the night work was done using night vision rather than white light; the only white light was provided by the antis, along with rape alarms, vezulas, whistles and fireworks. & Brian soloing.......

    As Britons we are lucky with stuff like that, we generally don't have to worry about shark attacks, snakes, spiders, crocs etc etc, in these country's they just have to get on with it......I lived in South Africa as a kid & we went out & caught small snakes, didn't know what they were,once had a deadly spider in the house.........in England we get all exited over a couple of fox attacks lol
