  1. Get yourself a big salad roll and loads of salad cream, my cure. All the best
  2. Went to see Evans at Dumfries and he was superb. He told us we were his guinea pigs for his upcoming tour and gave us an extra hour and a half of entertainment on top of the 2 hours we paid for. Ones I've seen, Mickey Flannigan brilliant. Kevin Bridges in Glasgow Superb, in Carlisle average. Lee Mack Very good. Rod Gilbert average. John Bishop poor. Oldies Billy Connely the master, Chubby Brown crude but very good. At the end of the day its night, we all have different senses of humour.
  3. These are the Spanish Galgos. I'm going to watch the finals early next year Lucky you

Warning, don't watch this while eating an apple. Bloody puter screen is a mess now.
  6. With Xmas upon us I would like to share a personal experience with all of you about drinking and driving. As you may know some of us have been known to have brushes with the authorities from time to time on the way home from a 'social session' with friends. Well on Saturday night I was out for an evening with friends at our local bar and had more than several beers followed by rather a lot of vodka. Although feeling a bit tipsy I still had the sense to know I might be slightly over the limit. That's when I did something I've never done before - I took a cab. Sure enough on the way home there w
  7. As said above they will bring a new dimension to your shoot. Canary grass takes time to become established but its there for a few years once it is. Stubble turnips grow fast and are very beneficial to the farmer as is kale. Planting a crop that helps the farmer out is great for PR and he would probably help out with the planting etc. A tritikale, quinoa, kale, mustard seed mix is a belter for all the birds in your area. Points to note are costs, i.e. preparing the ground, weedkiller, machinery, the seed, fertiliser, even a soil sample if you feel you need it. Keeping pest species off like pig
  8. I have just bought two of these torches, white and green. Very impressed with the product and the superb service and information from compound archer. They will show target at over 200 yds with the naked eye so you can imagine how good they are through a scope. I've never used a green light before and I must say it is excellent. The build quality is very good, they are light and a good size for on a scope or hand held. All in all a great torch at a fantastic price.
  9. I have no problem with Lennon. His passion and love for the club is bang on. I just wish he had had a couple of years as assistant manager.
  10. Yep absolutely ...............................................and you,ll also be the ones sat indoors watching England play in the World Cup.....again LOL, belter.
  11. 4th photo down, are the dogs saying R.I.P Aaron ? Or ' that'll teach you to try and pull our socks down'
  12. Nah f**k em its not our fault Scottish footballs in a shit state we owe them nothing its their hole let them dig themself out. If Celtic, or Rankers for that matter did move south, yes they would struggle for the first year but then all the money thrown at them would see them floating quite high. Gnasher, I agree, its total shite. But we aint the ones with a special select committee to see whats wrong with our national side !!! we know we are not good.
  13. He played a right back at left back, who has been out for weeks. Mulgrew was signed as a left back and was on the bench. If Mathews was seen as being fit he should have been on right midfield. Mulgrew at left back with Ledley left mid for back up. Brown and Biton ( only because of injuries and suspensions) in the middle. Commons sitting in behind Sammy, who should have been hooked after 10 mins under the trades description act. Ppppppppuuuukkkkkkiiii, there, said it without swearing should never have started. A player with no confidence makes those around him nervous. Lennon frustrates the
  14. I would use an Otterhound, that way you will have yourself a S.L.O.W.
  15. Bought my son a pair and they leaked in no time. He's wearing these now and had no problems, where he goes beating, half the team are wearing them now.
  16. Too busy laughing at the Aussies thrashing England in the Ashes to bother with the football.. Oh the irony
  17. As said, you are a stuffer. If I am stuffing I always have 3 shells in each hand (all the same way round) and put 2 in at the same time if needed, not one at a time. I also keep shaking the cartridge bag, this brings the brass end to the top, so easier to pick them out the right way up. If I have a 'mover' I tend to go with him as long as its not to far, at the end of the day he is the man/woman who has paid for the days shooting. If he is a dancer then I hold my ground as they can be a tad erm dangerous. When you get to the first drive ask someone, usually the person who is placing the guns
  18. Results were pretty poor. Thanks compoundarcher.
  19. As MIK says, dont buy cheap. Your rifle is only as good as whats sitting on top and that includes the mounts. I have an 8x56 Shmidt on one and I was given a Meopta 3x12x56 and it has been flawless and they are priced very well.
  20. I recline to give you an answer, but always remember a hare likes a good seat !!
