Is the lighter darts so they are thinner and can bunch together better in the trebles? I feel as if I need more power, when I throw harder it effects my aim so slightly heavier me thinks Struggling to reach the board are you peewee..lol Funny how grip can make a difference then Brackenboy.....much like golf when a newbie grips the club the tend to want to hold it like a baseball which technically is wrong. I sort of do that as I've done it all my life and I started golf at a young age. Although I'll never get on the tele I've won a few things. But I agree what seems unnatural can be a benef

Sorry, cack handed as in golf. Right hand swing, left hand grip. I rest the point in the wee gap between my finger and nail, if you know what I mean.

I dont buy all that practise makes perfect stuff......practise will get you so far but without talent and ability your going nowhere.......i went through a phase where i was playing darts,pool and table tennis every day of my life for a good 2/3 hours ......i never got any better than an average 45 with 3 darts......i tried everything,different darts,different grip,different stance etc.....nothing.......i could practise till im blue in the face i,ll never be any better than poor to average.......yet another chap i know went on to county standard within a few months of picking his first dart u

Ooooooohhhhh its so technical. Dart weight, shape, length of stems, shape of flights. Do you put your foot parallel with the oche or toes pointing at the target. Do you stand square to the middle of the board or to the left or right. Practise is the key

If it were me who they stopped I would be down at the police station to inform the duty officer about what happened, in the nicest possible way. In your case, be very nice, especially with a van that is easy to spot and "pick" on in the future. Tell them that through the officers lack of knowledge you are losing earnings. As said on another post, print out the Wildlife act and keep it in your vehicle. You should as a pest controller know the law to. On the chip scanner, he might have been a wildlife leason officer, which makes it worse if he doesn't know the law.

14000 on 300 acre???? Seriously??? yup give or take a few thou depending on the days then 3 thou in the forestry and 3 thou down the road edit to say...289acre on the top of the road and 77 at the bottom of the road so over 300 closer to 4.... 5 pens of 2 thou and 2 pens of 1200 the rest in lal pens So thats 366 acres. now assuming you use woods / cover crops to drive the birds from, the 'home' woods must be your pens. In 366 acres these surely cant be much of a size so therefor smallish pens for such numbers. Question :- How many people were employed to lift all the shit so

I have lost 7 family members and don't know how many close friends and friends parents to cancer. So therefor it's not my favourite. I have collected thousands of pounds for cancer / breast cancer. Edited to say I'm not having a go at you, life is to short for that

As socks say's, get the raw meat into your pup. At nine weeks old I would still be giving mine lamb / goats milk at least twice a day including it's 4 feeds of meat. Amounts vary from pup to pup ( size ) but around a lb per feed 4 x a day won't be far off the mark. If it wants more then give it more, you will benifit from this when your pup matures into a fine adult. As with everything, you only get what you put in. Good luck and remember this IOMO, everyone is different.
