  6. have you got a link for the fintracker? cant seem to find it !? or are they mad by falconry electronics?
  7. I will hopefully be flying a Harris too. as my mentor said ' choice of telemetry is up to you', so I am thinking that a Harris isn't going to fly 1000 miles away and it shouldn't go AWOL too often (I know I shouldn't count my hawks before they hatch, just going by others experience). it all looks good equipment to me and they sound professional and decent.

    Telemetry

has anyone ever used falconry electronics for telemetry? their cheapest system is at least £50 lower in price than the cheapest Marshall. I know Marshall is the best and all that blah, but for someone who is gonna be tight for cash after building an aviary it may be an only choice. any other (sensible) suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I don't want my birds safety to suffer, but I do have to watch my budget! potpoacher

  14. it seems to me that your hate of religion stems from bad experience of the church you went to. it seems that it is mostly the catholic church went to as well? I am only a kid but I know when something is real and when something is not and I know that God is real and that we should not question his existence. those who have made remarks against him will find out what it is really about one day. it will be too late then. from now I am staying away from this conversation, no matter anybody says. My love of God is too great to part with. so say what you like but it wont make a difference. just d
  15. good luck mate! don't have the time or money at the mo, maybe one day....
  16. got some new permission today, about 300yds at least of hedgerow with some good warrens in. the damage to the barley field is unbelievable. the farmer has trapped 20 so far but it looks like there's some left for me! if I make a good job of it there is more to come ! if anyone in north Suffolk wants come along in return for a spin on their permission then I am more than happy as long as their permission is nearby. I am also happy if someone with a hawk wants to come along as long as I can come with them to get a bit of experience some time!!!!!!
  17. agreed. the head teacher wouldn't let me take in my ferrets, so I turned to the cage trap! on several occasions I was sitting in lessons when there would be a tap on the window. it would be the caretaker who I know well and he would be holding a bin bag containing the next rabbit!!! believe me, I got some funny looks and lots of questions, I just told them he was growing weed for me round the back...!
  18. 22 in 3 traps just baited with carrots in 2 weeks, this was at a school where they were mainly living under the buildings.
