    dont see why you would want the plastic???? and you can lay turf on sand but you need a type that will grow well on it.... its better if you get a sand/soil mix........ orignily there was pink pebbles down on that cloth netting its full ta the bxxllexs now with weeds so i pegged black plastic of the building site over it .if i leave the plastic on say a couple a months will the weed come back or is it easier just tip more pebbles on top of the plastic.would rather grass it but not gonna start that digging out carryon lol. hard to say with no pics mate!!! but ive never known the b

    can you lay rollout turf over plastic with sand on top or does it need to go on top of soil.
