There are pro's and con's for both living inside and outside
Does living either way make them run or work any better
My answer is, if the dog is looked after properly it wont matter at all if its kept inside or out
Daytime hare courser's telling other lurcher lads hare should not be ran on the beam because its cruel
Tree huggers telling hunters they should not hunt because its cruel
Sounds similar to me, if I had the inclination to do so and it was legal I would take no notice of either
Coursing people think every person who owns and hunts with a lurcher yearns for there dogs to be able to catch hares in the day time, why is that? Its just not true that every person with a lurcher wishs to run daytime hares and go to the fens
From my limited experience of running deer before the ban they did silly things day and night like run into fences etc etc especially when they got into a panick.
A question for the ex miners, do you put any of the blame for the mines closing on arthur scarghill and the num?
I got today that the mines used to run with around 18 to 19 percent of the workforce on the sick, not sure if this is true?
Some say different, a lot of folk think roe are our fastest deer
they just look faster as there legs are moving quicker
True and some folk actually believe that because they look faster they are faster
Iam a firm believer in "each to there own" if it makes them happy... but my experience of lurchers tells me I would not like to own this type best of luck with him though
Not having a pop here its just my observation because these topics seem regular occurrence. It seems everyone wants a pup from there dog these days or are breeding litters without a thought to whats going to happen to the surplus pups. Why dont folk do a bit of research and source pups from litters that suit there needs, would that not be easier?
