    Kranky I dont get why you think your dog is so superior to a dog that is worked primarily out of a vehicle because you can slip it from 200 yards away Do you think every dog that is worked from a vehicle cannot be given long or harder slips? IMO Any dog worth keeping can be given a long slip regardless of it being mainly walked and slipped or slipped from a vehicle.

    I'd judge each slip on the particular situation. It's unusual for stuff to be up and running full throttle when I'm 200 yards away because I'm creeping about and not hanging out the window of my Scooby. My dog can get on to terms with stuff that are given more than fair law. He's quick. Any dog worth its salt should be able to make up ground regardless of it being let out of a vehicle or slipped on foot I just dont get your wisdom of a 200 yard slip and saying your not hanging out of a scooby or 4x4

    Love the half x bulls but the best allrounders Ive used for the type of hunting I prefer are lurchers with about a quarter bull and other breeds in the mix Guess I would call myself a bull x fan not a convert though

    Iam old fashioned and prefer leather greyhound collars, for a slip lead I use blue nylon rope threw the collar ring.

I dont know it all and dont pretend to Its my opinion and thats what these forums are about, giving opinions is it not? As far as I can see nobody is bitching or ruining anything
