  1. When somewhere is described as "ethnically diverse", I think most of use know what that coded language actually means....... As for "sharing the same habits", I know some of their habits and, believe me when I say you couldn't pay me enough to share them !
  2. No use to me.....I'm left handed !
  3. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2017/jul/06/g20-police-and-demonstrators-clash-at-protest-in-hamburg Mr Trump and Mr Putin will meet for the first time (that we know of) today at the G20 summit. Trump made a speech in Poland yesterday, prodding the Russian leader about his involvement in Crimea, Ukraine and Syria. Should make for an interesting little chat ? Meanwhile, the German police have helpfully cooling down the protesters during this warm weather, and putting out the bonfires and vegan barbecues.........
  4. I don't. It's on the same level as "You cruel man, why don't you buy your meat from the supermarket rather than kill these innocent deer!". There are some properly stupid and emotional people in this country. Well lap it up then & over react about people over reacting.... Over react? Personally I think it's f***ing hilarious. Perhaps I smile too much at such things? I kind of meant it as general observation of these type of threads, I wasn't imagining you red faced & fuming! Haha....I know these kind of freaks do exist, but nor do I think it's inconceivable for fellow hunters
  5. I'm beginning to think that I've had a very sheltered life.......
  6. Welcome to Australia.....! https://youtu.be/Gucd0IbRn5c
  7. Australia's great, isn't it ? Soooo many ways to die !
  8. One of my neighbour's bought a shiny, new, white Transit last month......f***ing fascist !
  9. We should all make more of an effort to work on those nasty, unsightly areas, you know the sort of thing - beer belly, flabby arms, South London !
  10. I visit the local gym regularly - usually to use the bog on my way home from the pub !
  11. Not to do with spiders, but still in Australia, I had a school pal (Welsh kid), who went running home with a cardboard box, shouting "Mummy, look what I've caught ! Can I keep it ?" His mum opened the box, to be greeted by a very pi55ed off Tiger snake ! To this day, it's still beyond me how he got it in the box without being killed.... So, phobias of snakes of spiders aren't necessarily irrational.......it just depends where you live !
  12. When I was a boy, we lived in Australia. One day, there was a big birthday party, and all us pommie kids were invited, so off we went, larking about down the garden. After a while, one of the parents came down, to see what all the hullabaloo and squealing was about...... And there was me and all the other kids obliviously poking sticks at a funnel web spider !
  13. They are fascinating but there is just something about them that freaks me out. Strangely enough scorpions don't trigger that fear instinct at all yet they're poisonous unlike our UK spiders. The monster camel spiders did help me get over my fear of house spiders since they're nowhere near as scary lol Don't want to trigger your fear further, but almost ALL spiders are venomous ! If it make you feel any better, most venom isn't strong enough to harm anything human-sized, or their fangs can't penetrate our skin.......most,that is !
  14. Same here ! Can't get anything done in this heat !
  15. I saw them a bit back on TOTP2, which has captions with little snippets of info - his name (if memory serves) is Tommy Banner and he's actually Scottish.......! Ooh arr, oh arr ay !
  16. I think he's playing it very smart but no matter what these decisions are taken on advice and not just on a whim by presidents. Clinton would be dealing with the same situation and personally I think she would be doing a worse job. China is in a very serious economic mess (not quite happened yet) and they are the key to the NK nuclear issue.....any trade tariffs would send them into a recession so the US has all the cards. The US has sent lots of anti missile systems and radar systems to SK and Japan which has really upset the Chinese....no doubt part of the negotiation. The US also p
  17. Perhaps it wasn't the cladding at all - a good accelerant could have been the facial hair of the female tenants !
  18. You can't go round thumping everyone you don't like ! If you hit him, you will be in the wrong.......
  19. We did that to one of our wedding guests ! The good lady invited someone, then regretted it, so I had the duty to tell her to make her way to the Blue Bell for drinks, while we went home with everyone else...... The thick end of 20 years later, I still feel a bit bad about it...
  20. One guy was on TV yesterday, italian I think? He was in a decent hotel with his family,he said he had been offered 2 separate flats but neither of them were to his liking as he was holding out for a similar deal to to his place in Grenfell The amnesty for the sub-lets and the illegal immigrants is so people will open up a bit more and authorities can finally get a true figure on the number dead. Similar to his flat in Grenfell ? How hard can it be to find another run-down, overcrowded, rubbish filled rat hole ? Especially in London ?
  21. Gnasher is organising the welcome party, as we speak !
  22. The nasty soldiers probably killed a poor, Taliban part-timer, instead of asking him to put his gun away and take stock of his life's direction - the brutes !
  23. Shock......horror....! Soldier enters war zone - kills someone.
  24. I don't give the benefit of the doubt to the 'powers that he's. I give it to the troops who act on intel, without knowing whether that intel is true or not ! If there is an Intel f*** up, how can the people who act on it be held responsible ?
