    We don't know yet if it was a terrorist attack, isn't that how it works?.Or perhaps it's different when it's non whites on the receiving end. Mrs May said it was almost immediately, so it must be true.

    I did ask him this question once and he said he doesn't agree with all labour policies but overall he thinks they are the better party, or something along those lines. Spot on That was talking about the current hunting ban though, not sure where socks has got the idea that they're going to ban hunting rabbits with dogs from and not sure where this thread I haven't replied to is either How are Jeremy and Diane mate ? And PLEASE spare us the gory details !

    I don't think anyone has actually condoned it ! Most simply have no empathy for the victims, and that's not the same thing. I'd prefer it not to have happened, obviously, but as has been said, if you like a spelling dog to long enough, it will wake up and bite you ! On a similar thread a couple of weeks ago, I quoted a government security advisor, who was concerned that "the British people will not simply put up with these attacks indefinitely. It's a matter of time before there is a reaction." It seems he was right !

    I heard a Muslim on the radio say it took 1 hour for the police to arrive. Of course it's a pack of lies that will be spun to amongst themselves to help with there victim mentality. That obvious lie is still being repeated by 'eye witnesses'......most of them not sounding too sure about what they claim they saw, but taking the opportunity to bleat about every perceived injustice they 'suffer' !

    I've seen a few interviews with 'eye witnesses' and by-standers now. Is it just me, or do the younger ones especially, sound like they're making a speech, from a prepared statement - straight into the camera, like they've been practising ? Maybe it's just me, but just an observation.......

    That's part of the fun . I remember as kids going down rapids and mini waterfalls in big inner tubes . The guy in the tyre yard used to inflate some and leave them outside the yard in hot weather for the kids to take and use . He be charged with "reckless endangerment of a minor", or some such, these days !

    Utterly shameful response from the leaders of the local council, if they've any decency they'll be handing in their letters of resignation first thing Monday morning. From the tone and phraseology of the quoted piece, I'm guessing you didn't lift that from the Daily Mail ?

    I've got a similar one, and its great ! The Lidl model has a weight capacity of 160kg, but take that with a pinch of salt - mine is listed as 180kg, but it takes basic gear,me and my mate - and we're over 200kg.....(combined, not each !) We've had some great little excursions up and down the Grand Union - go for it, and have some fun !

    I assume that neither Mayweather nor McGregor do it for the fun of it ! I was pointing out that I don't claim any great expertise, but the 'skill sets' simply aren't matched. As others have said, there's a real risk that McGregor could get hurt - he won't have been hit as hard, as often or as precisely as hemisphere going to be !
