If I can sent a text message, and speak to someone who isn't in the same room, it's all I need.......! For too many people "the latest phone" is just an expensive fashion accessory, I reckon...... Several hundred pounds for a phone ? More money than sense, in most cases !

Matter resolved ! Picked up a nice Anschutz bolt action with 3" chamber, and a couple of boxes of ammo, for a hundred notes. The thing's probably older than me, but hey.......it's an Anschutz ! Happy chappie !

The character is called "The Doctor" - no gender indicated ! The character of "The Master" was changed from a man to a woman, and it attracted no attention whatsoever...... There's lots of women called Doctor......! At the end of the day it's a fictional character - made up - so the writers can make any changes they like, really. I don't see that it matters..... Sceptical fans can accept a story about a time travelling immortal, but can't accept that it might be a woman ?

I watched t when I was a kid, and when it was first resurrected - Christopher Ecclestone was very underrated, in my opinion, but David Tennant and Billie Piper had something very special going on ! Superb on-screen chemistry ! Jodie Whittaker won wide acclaim for her role in "Broadchurch" (which I did NOT watch !), and she was very good in "Attack the Block", which I rate......... .....so there !

"Dawn of the Dead" was one of, if not the, first film my parents ever rented on VHS from the corner shop ! He'll be missed by fans of true horror films.

With drum-roll and fanfares, the new Doctor Who has been announced ! The 13th incarnations of the famous character will be Jodie Whittaker....a woman ! Is this a much needed reboot to a fading series, or the final nail in its coffin ? Some believe it's simply a platitude to the SJWs, who, in turn, claim to have dragged the programmme, kicking and screaming into the 21st century......... Oh, and one more point, I've just thought of.........it's a telly programme that I don't watch - I couldn't care less !
