  5. nothing on that hill mate, icey cleaned it out, last couple of summers, lol. that big e looks fcuked in that pic yous on the beer last nite Think it's all that ex army gear he's wrapped up in,looks like a boil in the bag rice
  6. The amount of supplements that are available these days is unbelievable, protein, creatine, calcium, amino acids to name but a few,is it any wonder that we consider using these either for animals or for ourselves at times, all the fancy labels and bold claims,if you are nursing a broken jaw and eating through a straw they may be some help, but all that synthetic powder form nutrition surely cannot be too healthy after a while
  7. Another alternative could be milk,I used a high protein milk powder with some added honey and glucose for my pups and they loved it,all the best with your new pup anyway
  8. Forgot to mention there is also a 25% protein option made with salmon and smoked salmon also with the sweet potato,be a nice alternative for the veggies (antis) among us
  9. At nearly fifty quid per 13.6 kg bag,it'll only be the dogs that get a look in
  10. I was just reading about this grain free dry feed made from bison, venison and sweet potato, and was wondering if anyone has tried it,I've been losing a bit of weight recently and at 32% protein sounds like it could be of some use,be good to see what the dogs make of it also
  11. When your on the hills with the dogs by your side, how often does money cross your mind
  12. Cheers mate, she a full saluki x bearded collie grey Oh she must be the one you got recently, did'nt recognise her there, hope she comes good for you next season, nice to have a good looking good worker, just got back from the moors, seen a load of strong ones running about, wish my dogs were 3 year old again atb
  13. Good looking dogs and pics, hows the one with the green necklace bred,i'm away over the moors with my veterans now atb
  14. Sounds about right to me,always liked the look of whippet greyhound's for the smaller land, but think if you add maybe 1/4 saluki blood you could improve with stronger feet, recovery rate, and allround durability, saw one years ago, think it might have been a decent little bitch in the right hands, but she had been on the carousel,as is too often the case
  15. All you need to do is walk her up the beam on the slip until you're right up on them, she'll soon learn, maybe because she is 100% sighthound blood she's just looking for the moving targets, never owned one myself, but I seen a few run in the 90's,good dogs to watch, not the best for rabbits, but they'll catch their fair share,my mate's dog Axle was started on the hares at 10 months old, before any other quarry, and never looked back,I hope they make a comeback in the future, just need to get the right deerhound blood,if there is any about these days atb with the young bitch
