    Start off by getting used to Running out one 25yd net. When you feel ok with the Net by all means use two 25yd Nets together. Most places one 25yd Net would not be enough.Practice makes Perfect.

    Simple to Train a Dog to Jump.Put a Small Hurdle in the Gateway of the Run and the Dog will get Used to Jumping over it.Raise the Barrier when the Dog is Clearing it with ease.Mine Jump on Command.A dog that Doesn't Jump wont Catch As much Quarry as a Dog that does in My opinion.

    If you want to use the Longnets at Night i would recommend that you get Plenty of Practice Running it out in the Daytime.To start off with i would use 25 yard nets.Good Luck.

    I use a Nightstalker,Very good in my opinion.

    Keep the Retrieves to a Minimum.Say 3 or 4 times a day and make a Game of it. Make it Fun for your Pup. If you overdo it the Pup will become Bored.Start your Training in an Enclosed Area at first,Ideally somewhere Narrow so the Pup cannot get past you with the Dummy.An old Sock Rolled up is an ideal Dummy to start with.Remember Make it a Game.

    I've had Lurchers now for 35yrs.(i'm 48).First got into Running dogs because my Late Father used to Train Greyhounds Back in Ireland. My First Lurcher Was A Beddy/Whippet. I now Run Deerhound/Greyhound/Collie Types.

    My Missus was always telling me that i think more of the Dogs than Her and that she had enough.Were still together 26yrs down the line.She's Glad i go out Lamping/Beating /Ferreting/Following the Hunt now, especially if the Grand Kids are down.Trouble is My 3yr old Grandson wants to go with me.

    How many more Children are going to be Mauled to Death Before any thing is done.There should be Some licencing Legislation Regarding Dangerous Breeds.The Owners should be Made to Prove they are Capable of Training and Controlling these Breeds. My Heart goes out to Young Lads Family. Rip Little Man.

    Just been talking to my Mother,she said she had a phone call of an Asian Guy Yesterday claiming he was working for the Government.He asked her how much Council Tax she was paying has they had her down for a Refund.When she said she didn't pay Council Tax due to her being An old Age Pensioner on Benefits,He Said that she Has got a cheek Living in our Country. The b*****d is lucky i wasn't there the Cheeky f****r.

    There was a litter advertised in the Countrymans Weekly 18/11/09.My mate owns two Irish Terriers(Dog and Bitch)The Dog stands about 22" tts.If we ever Acquire a Greyhound Bitch he's going to be used on it.
