    I broke my Nephews 9 month old Russell to Chickens in two Days.I kept him on a long Lead the first day and he Lunged at the Hens.A quick Slap with a Rotten Bamboo Bean Stick Checked Him.Second Day off the Lead again he tried for a Hen Same again a slap with a Rotten Bamboo.Third Day in the Chicken Pen he didn't look at them i even Tried to force the Hens in His Direction.It can Be done as for Sheep Get him in with Ewe with Lambs job Done.

    When you say Middles do you mean his Bollocks?If so i wouldn't worry Some dogs dont drop theirs until they are about 9 months old.

    I had the Information about Vitamen K off A Pest Controller Mate.As for Controlling Rats using my Tactics Mate,Ive Been Controlling Rats for the Last Thirty Years Using Traps and my Dogs. So i know what i'm Doing.By the Way Rats do and Will eat enough Chicken Feed to Allow the Antidote to Work.

    Pointless using Poison where Chickens are Kept because the Antidote (Vitamen K) is in the Chicken Feed/Waste of Time and Money.

    Here's my Deerhound/Collie/Greyhound Bitch. Not the Best pic as i hadn't Stripped out her Coat It makes her look Overweight.I'll get a Pic up Soon now that i have managed to Strip her out.She's a Cream Merle.

    Never Starve a Pup,How many Feeds a day is the Pup having?. My Young Bitch was A Fussy Eater when she was A pup.She was Having 6 Feeds a Day, Weetabix in The Morning then Meat throughout the Day,She would get her Last Feed about 8 o'clock in the Evening.I resorted to Hand Feeding throughout the Day(Meat) Because she Was so Picky with the Meat.Now as soon i put her Dish Down it is Gone in Seconds.Time Consuming But it Works, also i found the Pup Bonded with Me Better.

    For your First Lurcher mate,i would Go for Something that is Easy to Train,ie Collie/Greyhound.Read as many Books as you want to,but you have Experience Training Dogs,All the Best with your New Dog.

    My Hunting mate has Two Irish Terriers, One Dog,One Bitch. The Bitch goes Beating with us, The Dog however is a different Story.If he had a chance he Would Fight anything.(23tts)They are (used to be) Called The Red Devils Back in years gone by Because Apart from being Vermin Dogs and Farm dogs the Irish Used to Fight Them As Well.If we ever get the Chance to Acquire a Good Greyhound Bitch we hope to Breed some Ourselves.
