i suspose it all depends on your budget, what quarry you will be controlling and what sort of ranges you expect to shoot to. me personally im looking for a 17HMR in the next couple of weeks just for the longer ranges than i get with my rimmy.

im in 2 minds weather to get the medium basket for the 100yd net or large basket for the 200yd net as i have 2, 100yd nets.
also how much did he pay for the poles ? at the moment i use carbon fibre poles which are on the thin side and could probably do with some thicker ones.

good results out of interest, the long net basket that is in the top left of the photo you are using, is that from MAGNUM TRAPS ? im just about to get around to ordering one from him. if it is, just wondering if you think its good quality.
thanks

i got myself a cobra merlin with 90mw laser. i can see clearly out to 150yds / 200yds. at the moment its only attached to my rimmy so i dont have the need to shoot past 100yds, but its always good to see that extra bit further.. plus its handy when i go on certain pieces of land where the rimmy wouldnt be safe, then i just stick it on my rapid and away i go. well worth the money. i have the short eye relief which is perfect for the rimmy as it has no kick. get this setup for around £550.
theres another member on here " MAGWITCH " who has the same, ask his opinion.aswell.

nice pieces of firewood... personally, i wouldnt have one if i was given it. if i was given one, i would probably use it on the person who gave it to me. save up & buy something decent. cause to be honest, them "rifles " aint worth a :wankerzo4:
squeaking rabbits ..... i remember the first time i tried this. me & my mate were plotted under a tree, cammoed up. we saw a bunny laying low and didnt feel the shot would of taken it. i told my mate to sit tight and get ready for the shot..... i squeaked, and all of a sudden this bunny was up on his hind looking square at us.... my mate couldnt shoot straight away as he was pissing him self.... then he got it. i use this method alot now, always brings a smile to face..

this mixi is spreading like wild fire, but as ive said in previous posts, i dont mind mixi, the only down side i see with it is when the coney suffer from its effects, but it does make my work alot easier.
i went out early this morning to do a couple of sets, ended up with 5 in total, 4 adults & 1 baby. and one of the does was pregnant with 4 in her, so its an added bonus.
