  1. well for starters i would of let it go in the middle of nowhere, with no farms etc in sight and let nature take its cause.
  2. personally alex, i would of just let her go free than top her... That really would be a stupid thing to do . Alex for what its worth i think you have done the right thing . If you have been putting the extra effort in and still getting nailed then what you have done is the correct thing to do . Some will not agree but that is tough . There comes a time when putting a animal down is the best thing to do . Better going to rainbow bridge than getting passed from pillar to post . why is that then ?
  3. personally alex, i would of just let her go free than top her...

  8. no... but the last thing i would do is knock them on the head. ive had some that were nippy, i just had patience. it took some 2 to 3 months to calm down, their some of my best workers now.

  10. give it a bash.... i dont know what they put in it, but they love it.. another thing i use it for is when my lads get abit fiddly when im trying to put a collar on them, i squeeze some on top of my box, they sit there still & silent and i have all day to put the collars round their neck. richie
  11. out with the ferrets yesterday to do a set with about 20 holes. took a new jill out & my hob, the jill worked well and had them bolting.. as i was working my way through the set i came to the last couple of holes... 20 minutes past, then 30. went for the mk3 and had them at about 4 foot.. i thought this was going to be the first time i was going to let my spade see some action . i waited for another 10 minutes and still no sign to be honest there was no way i was digging down to 4 foot at the base of a tree. so i got the malt paste out. ive been giving this to them for 6
  12. thats what i paid for mine... to be honest i didnt mind paying £20 each as it holds rescued ferrets, i would of thought that he breeds them aswell as it is probably a business for him. got to say though, im well happy with the way theyve turned out, wouldnt be without them. richie

  17. one bit of advice i will give you apart from the common sense of not shooting through a hedge that you cant see through and maybe having someone standing on the other side, and it doesnt matter if you stand opposite and make good communication, never stand where a gun can face you, always behind. when your friend is holding the shotty & if he is right handed, stand to his right and slightly back a bit, in the 5 oclock position. as he should never have to point the gun this way when waiting for a bolter or if he pulls the trigger by accident, or slips, as these things can happen, and if

  19. ive just looked at the picture again and see what your saying .... you mean the white drinking nozzle ? i suspose if it was going to be used permantantly, it would be worth removing a small section of the mesh to slide it through sideways then to turn it upright and fasten.. richie
  20. kay, looking at the picture it seems that the yellow disc is undone then the thread is stuck through the cage and then the yellow disc re-attached and tightened to hold in place..... i think.. richie
