    ive got 4 in my court, & guess what..... mine leak aswell. i once saw a design where a bottle was placed upside down in a small troff shaped container & as the water was drunk the level of the water went down aswell... ill try to find it again. richie

    stubbs.... im going to need a hand on a warren i visited today plus a load of hedges surrounding, long nets willl be a must. my plan is to visit the area on a saturday and clear it with my petrol hedge trimmer so the ground will be 100% accessable to get to the 25 or so holes and ferret it the next sunday, early doors.. i remember last season i travelled there nice and early to start ferreting it, then i realised i left my nets at home.... by the time i got back after an hour, the local game keeper had just finished working it, so ive got to get to it soon as. when i was there today i saw a bu

    i was out 7am this morning & met up with one of the farmers. hes just given me permission to ferret the other side of a 700+yrd hedge on his land. he had a chat with the farmer in the next land & hes given me his permission to work his side of the hedge. result really, as he gets on with his neighbour..... hope i have a good day tomorrow. richie

    if the farmer cant tell you who owns the land, which is a slim chance, i would get on the web and print off an ordinance map of the area and contact the land registry.... in some cases the local town hall.... richie

    i have a .410 mossberg hushpower pump. great guns. i use 3" magnums & 3" subs. you wont hear much of a difference between the both when firing, but only a difference from far away. the noise is more of a whoooooshhh than a bang. i would highly recommend one. i would go for a pump rather than a pedretti or baikal single shot, i had the pedretti before and it was a bollock ache to only have the one shot. the 3 shots on the pump comes in handy, especially when you come up close on a bunch of bunnies. richie

    I suppose that was a bit strong, he needs something anyhow!! probably just ragin that he couldnt get out to pull deer with that big wolf hound ! I did not see the wolfhound, miss that bit. Did it show him ferreting at all? it only showed about 20 seconds of ferreting, whilst i was typing it and posted it, it stopped.
