    I've bought a tidy car or two for less money than that, i no they wont go down a small rabbit hole , but a bloody 200 sovs ferret would'nt get me & the old lady + cases down to brighton .....who the fcuk would pay that for a ferret.........

    yokel ,overkill im with you on the sika ,they are the toughest of all the deer in my experiance.Perfect heart shots & they run on every time, and it can be a good distance.I do some park work so you can see how the different spieces react ,the sika are by far the toughest .

    Beast if you were to see my "trophy wall"your'd laughyour socks of .....30 years worth amount to a silver medal roe head that i only shot because it was such a poor head,, a fairly big fallow head thats been in a scrap or two that was dragging a back leg,a red that my pals wife wont let him have on the wall at his.....thats it....I've just never been into trophys.But in 30 years i've had some fabulous stalking .

    John could you not use two of them ? if you had a peice of tube were the torch goes then clamp another on or would that be to high.. I.ve got a problem with my clulite reflecting of the mod , a mate is going to make me a new holder to raise it higher to try & cure the problem .at the moment i.ve taped a piece of black plastic to the bottom of the torch, its helped but looks shite .

    I bought a second hand swaro 2.5 x10 x56 ilum for £600 it was like new....had it for 3years & used & abused it .its started to mist up ,gone back to factory fixed free of charge +1 for the swaro....great scope.

    Had a touch of good fortune in the week ,on one of the farms i stalk close to home (1 1/2 miles) my southern boundry has allways been of limits because the owner dos'nt agree with killing deer. He own's several hundred acres as well as the 60 odd acres that border my boundry that he does nothing of note with(he's a property developer) i noticed the 60 acre plot for sale the other week and in no time a sold sign appeared.It transpires it was bought by a neighbour who i had mentored 4 or 5 years ago...A quick call secured me permisson to cross his fields to get into the wood on my stalking,in al

    The fluke is the worse ive ever seen,shot a fallow doe last week that had fluke on a farm ive been stalking for 10 years ,never seen it there before,Shot a fawn on another place with the worse case of fluke ive ever seen.The weather is a big factor .

    leegreen,iwish i did weigh 6 stone, i do wear mine a lot ,i find the leather goes hard & cracks after a fairly short while the chamo's were the worst ,2years was the max.i lavished more care and attention on them boots than my wife.They were crap.these american ones have been good but have doubled in price ,was looking at the harkila,and miendle ,sounds like the same problem as the chamo's ,but several people rated them.Need to make a decision soon mine are not long for this stalking world..!!!

    This was the program were the young fella scoped in a rifle by missing a target, the old geezer then shot at but only wounded a white tail buck with it(it was'nt the same gun) having never checked the zero himself.Him and another muppet then tried tracking it for 3hours with no bloody dog.having failed to find it they return to do the only sensible thing to do in these cicumstances, sack No 1 muppet for no zeroing the rifle properly that he did'nt shoot the deer with .......!All candidates for the T.H.S....
