    MC112 , I can,t understand why your getting so much aggro , from a perfectly reasonable query , T answer your question the dog sounds like a bullx greyhound and you are right to be worried , they are usually owned by the lowest form of human being and they are notorious for allowing and even encouraging them to catch harmless rabbits , so if your dog bears even a passing resemblance to a rabbit keep it indoors at all times and if you see the man again phone the police ,or better still perform a citizens arrest , If there were more people like you the world would be a better place .ATB

    My most memorable day bushng was in September 1967. A friend and I decided to go and visit his aunt who lived a couple of miles away ,we had with us two small mongrels and the journey took us along a foreshore across a couple of fields and through a small wood.     There seems to be a prevailing sense that it,s wrong to mention the countryside and money in the same sentence , the countryside , if its going to remain countryside, needs to earn its keep , wether its arable farming ,livestock , or leisure , its got to pay its way , not all shooters are big fat millionaires , not all keepers shoot bop on sight ,not all lurcher men are salt of the earth good guys .
