Land - A 2021 film starring Robin Wright, who also directs it. Again, one of those films i just stumbled upon, and i'm so glad i did. A woman who has lost her family and can't deal with the burdon she puts on others. So she buys a cabin in the wilderness of Wyoming, and the things she has to deal with there. It's a great plot, well filmed and says as much when there's no dialogue, as when there is. It's got decent ratings anyway but i'm giving it an easy 8.5/10 ?

Just come back from an enjoyable mornings ratting, only to see the north wests reginal Wildlife Officer's Land Rover parked on the field infront of my house. He was talking to one of the local gundog trainers, that use the fields around here. The Mrs said he'd been up and down all morning, pulling vans & 4x4's parking up or driving through. They know they've got more power behind them, and are gonna flex their muscle over the next few months....

I honestly think, that it's all about the bitch.... Yes, some dogs are great producers but the best of the best came out of great dogs, to great bitches. It's a funny thing, but you can keep good dogs all your life, but you'll always admire a good bitch... ?

Could post a comment on many of those photos but this, Miss Anistasia Noble is the one that stands out for me. A driven and honrable woman, who fought for a 'better' Scottish Deerhound...

Had a couple of doggy bitches, not all lurchers, but it seemed they tried hard not to come into season, when worked hard. Not that graft bothered them when they first broke down. Like i said, they used to be coverted, but these days most wouldn't have a clue what they own... ?

Didn't see it, so not sure which film mate but Denzel is ok, in 'some' films, deffo not 'star struck' with him. For me, he plays a better 'baddie' and never takes a less than dinamic role, which don't do him any favours....

Ray Winston... Read a post by Gnasher, years ago on here... 'Ray Winston just plays Ray Winston' these days (or sommat like that ?) and, sadly he's dead right... For those of us a 'certain age' a GH movie sounds fantastic... BUT they've got to go a long way to please the kids that grew up with the show... Ray and his now 'one dimentional' acting may just not cut the mustard...

Great actor, can't think of a bad film (though i'm sure he made some) but he was not only ground breaking but brilliant. Those pauses... Classic! RIP Sid... PS - though i always think of grandads 'Sidney Potter' whenever his name is mentioned ?
