    Thanks for the feedback people. Penny, i've always had the same opinion as you about plastic and have always put my dogs in good wooden housing but I think I may be missing a trick if i dont take the opportunity to see if the world of kennels has changed. What i'm aiming to do is extend my barred runs and sit two new kennels in them, rather than a big kennel (shed) block at the end. FDR i've seen the plastic barrel housing used quite a bit, usually with a wooden front and mostly housing terriers and if i'm honest i'm looking for something purpose built and smarter because they will be on

    Over the next few months i'm looking to replace my kennels. I'm thinking of breaking the mold and going plastic! For warmth, hygene and longjevity (is that really a word!) So the question is, does anyone use plastic, what type and how do you find it. Good and bad opinions please.

    Neil, whilst i agree with you totally on what an EBT really is. What always strikes me is that when it is added into both terriers (of different types) or lurchers to produce working dogs, the progeny, we either know or hear about, seems to range from pretty decent to bloody good..! Now though i hate to say it, there must be something in that for that to work out...??? And yer, like i said in my previous post, though i believe that, i'd never advicate the use of one in any line when, on paper at least, there are far better outcrosses out there!

    Most instant coffee's are horrible but as i use them for convenence i've found that mixing any half decent one (Dow Egberts, gold blend etc) with a smaller jar of Columbian blend coffee really makes a difference.

    Wide grip is chest....close grip is predominantly a triceps exercise. Why anybody with access to a barbell would f**k about doing hand stand press ups is beyond me its a prison cell exercise. Spot on.
