  1. Pork pies, Proper game, Haggis Black/white pudding Different sausages Native breed bacon, Beef Smoked fish Decent chutneys Excellent seafood The list is pretty much endless. There are plenty of good British/Irish foods you just have to look places up. And a good IPA to wash it down with.
  2. Tragic loss of life. RIP little girl.
  3. If I paid attention to bans I wouldn't have any pastimes left weed, bulldogs, hunting all illegal yet I'm not hurting anyone so the law can get fecked as far as I'm concerned What despicable brazen disregard of the law. You should be thoroughly ashamed of yourself. These laws were brought in by intelligent selfless hard working incorruptible politicians democratically elected with only the interests of the public in their hearts. Lol see how many mistakes there are.

  6. I did irish for 12 years and french for 4 years yet I could speak more french than irish. Irish when I was in school wasn't taught as a language like french was and it was usually taught by toss bags and the French teachers more open minded and human like. We could have all been speaking german if history had of been a little different.
  7. What do you mean 'took the soup"? I genuinely don't understand it.
  8. Fenian means to many a catholic IRA member,a cowardly individual that a good chicken supper would not go untouched, nah that was Bobby Sands.Of course it does but it's a shame a little bigotry has overtaken a little bit of self education. The ira and the dissident republicans used and use violence on the back of what happened 100 years ago. Look at history and count the amount of protestants were part of the Republican movement, you won't have enough fingers and toes. he bit of chip on his shoulder cause he missed all the action when he was doing security at the airport lol I did West Belfa

  12. The idiot who owned the dogs that attacked Mrs Lynch's daughter deserves a very lengthy spell in prison if he didn't have them under control. I don't know the story so wouldn't want to speculate to much on it. As I said in a previous post this I happened in South Africa where life whether it be man woman or child is irrelevant to a house burglar in many instances. Regularly not rarely peoe get raped and murdered in their homes over there. Thats if you can afford it you live in gated communities with privately armed security for a very good reason. To the best of my knowledge however may
  13. Nice one mucker, congratulations.
  14. South Africa has one of the highest crime rates in the world. Part of this is from house burglars raping and murdering the occupants more so than we will ever experience. Alot of people have guns and horrible nasty dogs for security and not for fashion accessories. They are there to do a job. The criminals over there know the risks. It's unfortunate but I have no sympathy.

  19. Just walked down Edgware Road in London, lime walking through downtown Damascus. Now my good lady understands my thoughts about islam and it's nutty followers.
  20. Just downloaded the piano track will give a listen tonight. TC When the first track started playing, I was instantly reminded of Erik Satie's Gymnopédie No.1 As it progressed I though I could hear an Einaudi style hypnotic repeat rhythms and melodies take a front seat. It was well worth a listen and I will again soon. Piano and guitar are my favourite two instruments, so I am a bit biased there. TC Le Onde is a brilliant tune one of my favourites. Another great pianist is Michael Nyman, he did the score for the film The Piano. I also forgot to menti
  21. Due to the content of the thread I read up on the puma/cougar. In North America they pretty much stay away from wolves unless they come across lone cubs and or small/ill female as they usually come off second best if tangling with a fully grown one. If wolves come across a puma and it's catch they'll usually take it off it and sometimes kill the cat. So theoretically if there is a solitary dog that can take out a solitary fully grown timber/grey wolf it should be able to take the cat.
  22. Tragicbeyond belief. RIP little children.
  23. For me some classical like Ennio Morricone and Ludivico Einaudi are well worth a listen. Eighties would be the main course as I grew up listening to my siblings music so it's quite diverse, I can listen to a song like blondies Tide is High and it makes me remember something from when I was 8 or similar age etc. The nineties didn't really come up with anything I liked except for some Tom Petty and his genre like the Travelling Wilburries etc. Some of the modern stuff would be like Paulo Nutini, Mum ford and Sons, George Esra a which are fairly acoustic and you could listen to in a pub or a b
  24. you should wait for the postmortem before jumping to conclusions! Maybe he slipped in the kitchen and fell against the kitchen drawers dropping a knife or 2 on himself. There is no evidence to show that it was deliberate.
