sounds a plan Maybe some mild chillies and or small sliced shallots or spring onions, not to many but enough for a little accompaniment to it and no sauce. I,l knock something up with scallops samphire black pudding ,garlic with a few green chillies out the gardy on sat How's about with eggs bacon and hp ye fecking fannies HP with scallops? I know what it means but from the info given it seems fairly black and white. If he didn't challenge him maybe he could have left himself a widower if the crim had shot his wife improbable but it could have been possible. The citizen could possibly have had police/military training or maybe was that fcuked off he felt he had to do something. -

I don't think it's devils advocate time, it in America where attitudes are different from being armed to being supported in general by society if you challenge a criminal. Everything he did is lawful : 1st he was lawfully armed 2nd he was entitled to challenge somebody who committed a crime. 3rd he defended himself with a legally held firearm when an automatic assault rifle was pointed at him by a criminal. I'm sure he was in fear of his life when he took the lawful and morally correct action. He didn't have to challenge the criminal just like the criminal didn't have to be armed with -

He's right sort of person to be armed. He took on somebody with an assault rifle and came out on top. You can't carry out a robbery with an automatic assault rifle and whine when you get sorted out. What happened if his wife got shot by the scum, I bet the husband would regret it for the rest of his life. He didn't shoot until the AK47 was pointed at him. There is no law against challenging an armed criminal and defending yourself appropriately when in danger, it is a basic human right recognised in the western world. -
I got a bottle of that from tescos earlier on to try tonight when kids in bed later.

I'll slow down and swerbe under control if it's safe to do so but never had the sudden 'oh shit watch out' and take action for say a dog. But for birds they're fcuked any way so don't bother for them.

If you hit a cat with your car you don't have to report it to the police but if you hit a dog you do. I live in the country and occasionally when driving along all sorts of wildlife would come across my path ie rabbits and assorted birds. One day a cat was on a collision course with me so I slowed down a little and didn't swerve. Wifey went nuts being your average non hunting animal lover. So explained I wasnt yanking on the brakes or swerving for a cat when I've kids in the car especially not for a cat. If people can't look after them tough shit. If it's practically feral it's obviously been in your garden annoying your dog and it was recognised by your dog. Silly tart should control her cat, are they using the vets bill to pay for the van as well. Tell them you need the receipt for your insurance company and if necessary contact the vet to confirm the cost.

As BGD says and plead that ok it was unfortunate what happened but it was accidental and not malicious. If they are real animal lovers tell them what could happen to the dog under the care of the arse.p.c.a as in it will end up worse off than the cat.

In 1991/92 when I was 16/17 I lived above a pub near Crawford Street in London which was frequented by tradesmen who came up for the week to work. I got to know a few of them and one fella from the west Country noticed all I drank was strongbow so he asked if I'd like to try some proper real cider. Of course I said yes so he goes home the weekend and brings back a demi and large container of scrumpy all cloudy with bits of Apple floating about. I lasted 2 1/2 pints before I was talking like a washing machine, it was lovely. Hard to beat.

Keep your head up pal my little girl was born three months premeture and had a big operation at a month old she was giving 24 hours to live a few times but pulled through and was in incubater for three months them docters and nurses do be great im sure your little girl will pull through little girls are big fighters atb mate All the best to the 2 of you I hope they grow up healthy and strong. I can't begin to imagine what it is/was like going through that.
