Here's a little 5 yard stoppy i've knitted over the xmas break. Made from 20/12 spun poly, 41/2" full mesh, 15 mesh deep plus a 20/24 selvage. 100% slack and a good belly, should be a fine killing net

Id be more interested in the mesh size before i decided what to do with it personally i'd cut it into purse nets, 10z is too heavy to make an effective stopnet, especially if the mesh is small you'd be better off with a trampoline

Takes a few days. Dont go too mad an order a large amount, i may be getting this in large quantities next year 20/12 in 2 shades of green 20/15 and possibly 20/09. Plus 20/24 in all the bright colours for purse nets

My pet hate is lads not setting purse nets correctly, not too bad when its just a bit of sport and numnbers aren't am issue but when its pest control and the landowner/bill payer is watching it really boils my piss

Dont worry about how long it takes to knit a net, quality is what your looking for. take your time and keep things square and your knots tight.

i've short stopnets here rigged by thirds. They do catch well, but if you've the right twine diameter and mesh size 100% slack is all you need. You certainly wont find me picking up a 50 yard traditional net, rigged by thirds on a damp night, i prefer my arms to burn on holiday, not a windy night out with the webs.

Guys all these torches come from China, the QC is shocking so duds are to be expected. as has been said its how the seller reacts to these manufacturing faults. You can buy these torches direct for peanuts but you takes your chances. theres a few people that can make you the complete pills for most of these torches, the LEDs will be correctly re-flow soldered onto the stars and they'll probably give you an option with the driver modes. However, don't expect them to be cheap. You get what you pay for I guess.
