0.5mm flat braided nylon?? if so it'll need a double knot for sure but will make an excellent killing net. Are you using pre-dyed or white??

i think it depends on the quality of lines your using, a good braided nylon with a tight weave 1.5mm fine. i use 1.5 1.7 and 2mm braided nylon on my own nets. the smaller diameter running lines in theory should allow the mesh to run smoother, less sag between pegs and less friction when the meshes are running. a rabbit will still chew through a line given the chance be it 1.5, 2 or even 3mm

i use welded mild steel nickel plated rings. ive got some quality 316 stainless steel rings coming soon. 1" and 11/4" a bit more expensive and a little heavier than mild steel but you'll not get anything better quality wise

Thats the point I am trying to make,if it suits you, use it, no matter what it is made of. Just because stainless does not suit me does not make it bad for end pins. No more than my rusty black mild end pins will suit anyone else. I just stated what suits me thats all. TC Thats the thing with this netting game, which ever way you feel comfortable using your chosen kit, as long as it works for you no one can say its wrong IMO

ive stainless, mild steel, aluminium pins, even some old bits of wooden pegs that been put to use as a set of pins. personally i like the stainless, flows off the pins nice and smooth and should last a life time. ive got some brass and copper bar somewhere that will be getting turned into pins, why?? because i can and im not going to waste it.

been on there before Alan there's just too many green to choose from ive got samples to send along with the pantone numbers (when ive found them) so all being well we should have all the bright colours for purse nets and 2 greens for the longnet twines.

pantone 1418 is a peach colour. I need to find 2 suitable greens for the 20/9 20/12 and get a pantone number, the problem will be matching the pantones to the bight colours for the 20/24

Always nice to have somewhere on the doorstep john, will be hard won rabbits with the brambles but a few well placed stopnets will be just the job. i picked up a huge permission this year just 15 mins down the road. beats driving hours on end but sometimes needs must. Busy as ever mate,

It should wrap them up nicely. That twine was part of a sample spool sent to me, dying spun poly is the expensive part of the process as it needs to be heated to high temperature to open the fibres to take the dye. The natural white is much cheaper
