  1. My kids and grandkids never asked me for a penny. It's always been f****n thousands!
  2. If the assassin was black or Muslim or genuinely belonged to a violent radical left organisation, America would have become a tinderbox of retribution. Perhaps it will happen in the not too distant future. If it does, hold on to your hat.
  3. Has anybody read, or does anybody think it is credible that Mossad had a hand in his death? Apparently, among the many things he had said, is that he did not believe Hamas murdered people and took hostages without the knowledge and complicity of Mossad and Netananahu. He also said that he did not believe this was a war between Judeo/ Christianity and Islam but simply a war over territory. He also muted that enough was enough with regard to Palestinian suffering. People like Kirk often say a lot of things to keep all supporters on board, because he has made conflicting statements about so
  4. I was in an outdoor restaurant in Las Callas a few year back. An ambulance screamed up to the next door restaurant. Eventually they took a body away. Elderly,20+ stone guy. What got me was that the majority in that restaurant carried on eating as the paramedics worked on him. Fack's sake. Life goes on eh?
  5. Aye laddie. The Gers had half the England team playing for them before they went bust. Not one was fit to scrape the mud from Willie Angus's boots.
  6. But Celtic would never have won the European Cup! You'd have rinsed most of the team. You heathen! Apologies for mentioning football what with the Hammers somewhat underachieving this season. Peace bro.
  7. https://yougov.co.uk/politics/articles/53016-britons-support-recognising-palestinian-statehood-by-44-to-18 Stiff, on a different subject. Check out Jock Stein on Great Lives, BBC Sounds.
  8. Just leave your money in your jeans and set your washing machine to 30 degrees. Comes out spotless.
  9. This is the new fashion. Debate by bullshit YouTube /Tiktok/ X/ Truth Social video. I bet you a half_ arsed conspiracy theory( 50,000 hits) on TikTok .I'll raise you this Fantasy Island drivel on my Favoured YouTube video ( 125000) hits. We have now entered the new world era of Post Truth.
  10. Scotty, you promised me that my wealth would increase ten fold by September because Mr Trump had a plan. I keep checking my money situation every morning and last thing at night, but it hasn't happened yet. Still, another 10 days of September left. Can't wait Scotty, I've given my house and car away to the poor, knowing my investments will multiply ten fold. God bless you. You are a soothsayer. When do you think Mr Trump will retract his statement that Hamas had been given 50 million dollars worth of condoms in aid, and that they were using those condoms to make weapons with?
  11. Mr Kirk was a truly wonderful man. A visionary. He was a brilliant debater and was courageous in his willingness to pursue the truth no matter how difficult that was. I felt terribly for his wife. Her long blonde hair draped delicately over his coffin is a memory I will carry with me for life. He left behind a 12 million dollar fortune. His wife has vowed to carry on his religious and political mission and I hope she continues their selfless evangelical work. What? ....... What? .f****d if I'm falling out with Trump and his mates. Damn that Jimmy Kimmel. Talentless bum. Shit ra
  12. Oh and her forever falling out of bed and having to be lifted back whilst she spectacularly moaned and screamed and sometimes cursed you. I'm calling Seagull when the time comes. He has a solution.
  13. They say you have succeeded as a parent when your kids are living an independent life. I'm probably the same age or thereabouts as your mother. The very last thing I would want would be for my son to give up his life and career to look after me. That would be a nightmare scenario to me. I've had nine tenths of my life, I wouldn't want to end it by ruining his. In a sense the mum you knew has gone. What remains is a shell. Somebody who looks like your mum but may not even recognise you. Her essence has gone. Parents look after children, not the other way round. That's a natural law.

  15. Studies have shown the brain is more likely to be 'rocked' when a boxer is dehydrated. Its this rocking which causes brain injuries. Injuries are part of the sport, however authorities should do everything in their power to minimise these injuries. It just seems daft to me to insist on weakening a man to somehow make a contest fairer. What will it prove? That Benn might be able to beat a weakened Eubank? Eubank senior's brother died from a boxing related brain injury, Eubank senior's ex opponent Michael Watson is now horribly brain damaged and Nicky Blackwell was brain damaged duri

    Trump.

With all those royal fannies buzzing about him, he won't be able to resist a quick snatch at one or two.
  17. I met a British born Sikh and his wife when we on holiday in Tenerife. They were very pleasant people. He was a barrister and she was a doctor. Indian families stress achievement and social mobility and won't accept second best from their children. He had a 'thing' about " dark forces" in British society. He meant Islam . Let's say he did not think very highly of Sadiq Khan. The country is not a melting pot of co_existing nationalities and creeds, but instead a witches' cauldron of distrust and hostility. There would be no trouble if people were like me and believe in nothing exc
  18. I would suggest the reason is that politicians come and go as do Health Secretaries. These people are essentially amateurs and are more interested in maximising their pay and perks than planning long term measures to benefit the nation. Another problem is retention. Many of our young doctors move abroad as soon as they are qualified, because pay and conditions are so much better elsewhere.
  19. I ended up in hospital for a night last week. I forgot I wasn't young any more and over exerted myself. There was a mix up, messages were never read and so I ended up dragging a carcass over a mile in very warm weather. I got badly dehydrated, became delirious and passed out. (Some said I talked more sense when I was delirious.) Anyway the point is I received great care. Couldn't fault it. As others have said, the NHS is hit and miss. But that's not good enough. It should be first class all the time. Here's the sod.
  20. A surgeon appeared before the GMC this week. He admitted to leaving a patient knocked out on the operating table whilst he went off and f****d a nurse. He was absent for eight minutes. He kept his job. We were paying him for that f**k. I cannot understand how it takes 6 weeks to process an x ray. You get an x ray back immediately at your dentist or vets. AI could do it within seconds. People hang on to the belief that the NHS is a wonderful institution because its uniquely free at the point of delivery. But healthcare is free in most developed countries and their outcomes on key ind
  21. My Mrs has developed sudden severe pain and swelling on her knee. The doc reckons it's osteoarthritis. So knee replacement. She's had an x ray. But because it's not urgent, there's a 6 week turnaround just for the result. Then a 2 year wait for the op. We are in our 70s, so haven't got that time to f**k about . We are going private.... £ 17 grand plus. I'm in the same boat . Need an op on my foot... 2 year wait. So 6 grand for me for private op. There is a concept of the social contract or social compact between citizens and government. But government has totally reneged on it. Don
  22. Stan Boardman. " the Germans bombed our chip shops". He should moan. Not only did they bomb our chip shops they bombed Old Trafford. We had to play our games at Man City. Barstewards.
  23. He may have died from an accidental overdose. But I take your point. There's some truth in the saying that oxygen thieves live long lives whereas a lot of lovely people bow out early
  24. Agree 100%. The ref acted like he was one of Mayweather's team. There was a stink about Cortez's interpretation of the rules that night.
  25. I don't know what point you are making Mack? Hatton was a pressure/ brawler type of fighter and he was highly effective at it. But he wasn't good enough against Pac and Mayweather. He had a tremendous following from his Manc friends, including Wayne Rooney, who was in his corner for Mayweather, I think. When he lost badly, he thought he had let his fanbase down and spiralled into drink and drugs. His son tried to take up the Hatton gauntlet , but the first time I saw him, I wrote on here he's going to get badly hurt. He doesn't have it. Did I tell you I was a self styled, THL infalli
